Passed away at Fenelon Court in Fenelon Falls on Thursday, September 3, 2009, Elsie (Jakeman) formerly of Zephyr in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Hoyle Bain. Loving mother of Betty (Carl) Reaman, Edward (Pat), Jean Davis, Nora (Alex) Lubinsky and Helen Bain, and predeceased by Patricia, Harold, Ruth and Mary- Jane and Robert. Also survived by her 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Marjorie Coppins, Percy Jakeman and the late Daisy Moulton. Stan was the loving husband for 55 years to Catherine. Dear brother of the late Vern. Loving son to the late Stanley & Florence Benham. Stan will always be remembered by his many family & friends. Stan was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved fishing & hunting. He served his country in Europe for 4 years. In 1937 he achieved his boyhood dream to play for the Oshawa Generals. Stan will be missed by all that knew him at Branch # 43 of the Royal Canadian Legion. At Stan's request there will not be a Funeral Service.

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Humber River Regional Hospital - Church Site at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Carla Rae (nee Jager). Dear father of Alana, Frank (Susan), Lance (Elizabeth), Terry (Amanda), Shawna (Luke), and the late Allison. Loving grandpa to Jennifer, Elisha, Ashlee, Sasha, Liam, Kayla and Cyril. Dear brother of Leo (Emma), twin sister Geraldine (Barry Butler), the late Phillip (Alice) and the late Huey (Nettie). Grandmother of Ricky, Scott, Colleen and Andrew, great- grandmother of Chantel, Owen and Ben, great-great-grandmother of Aiden. Survived by her niece Michelle Sandwith. On Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Stewart McLerie beloved husband of the late Helen McLerie passed away peacefully in his 88th year. Loving father to Tom and his wife Erica, Dave and his wife Bobby; devoted grandfather to Andrea, Nicole, Shannon, Andrew and Robert. Adored great-grandfather to Mackenzie, Kaiya, Rylee, Kaitlyn, Kerstin, Garrett, Madalynn and Xavier. Stewart will be forever missed.
