STUART, Margaret Starrs
After a brief illness at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa at the age of 73, with family by her side. Margaret was pre deceased by her husband Frank Stuart. Lovingly remembered by her children Edward, Mary and George (Karen). Proud nana to Victoria, Jon, Francine, Kyle, Megan, Andrew, Josh, Christine and Jessica, and her great-grandchild Aiden. Margaret will be sadly missed by her 2 sisters Nann and her husband Dave, May and her husband Bob all from Scotland, as well as her brother-in-law Jimmy (Diane), and her sister-in-law Eileen (and the late Tommy). Margaret will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and her friends. A memorial service will be held at Thornton Chapel (Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Rd., Oshawa) on Friday, February 2nd at 1:00 p.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. THOMS, Kenneth M.
On January 27th, 2007, at Lakeridge Health Whitby, in his 61st year. Ken passed away peacefully after a heroic battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Ken was an inspiration to all who knew him despite the relentless progression of the disease. He always maintained his sense of humour and easy smile. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Ken is survived by his wife Susan, his brother Don (Susan) Thoms, his sisters Dee (Douglas) Ford, Carol Grignon and his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Carl and Isobel Thoms and brother Douglas Thoms. Memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be greatly appreciated by the family, and may be made through the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East., Oshawa (905 433- 4711).
