HOSKIN, Gary Clinton
Gary is resting in Peace with his Heavenly Father after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Gary passed away on February 28, 2007 at the age of 63. Survived by his loving wife and friend Linda, dear father of Tina and Lisa (Dougherty) and grandpa of Laura and Thalia. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters; Kenneth (Mary) Hoskin, Anna-Marie (Neilson) Greentree, Shirley Mason, Betty (Charlie Durno) Greentree, Jack (Carol) Hoskin, Donna (Bryan) Smith, Joanne Harper and Joe (Lois) Hoskin. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Jean Hoskin and brother, Gordon. Gary also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and Uncle Doug (Aunt Marilyn) Love and Aunt Muriel Hoskin. Gary will be missed by his special friend, Bill Ratcliffe. Gary lived a Christian life and was a life-long member of Harmony United Church. He shared God's love and teachings with the children of the Church, members of the Bible Study Group and his family and friends. Gary had a gift of making those he met feel special but would leave saying "the joy is mine". PRUMMEL, Hans
On February 28, 2007, in his 50th year, Hans died at his home as a result of tragic circumstances. Hans was born in Zoelen, the Netherlands in 1956. He was a born builder, and trained to be a tool and die maker with Philips in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands. Hans immigrated to Canada in 1979 and worked for General Motors in Oshawa as a tool and die maker for 23 years. Hans surrounded himself with friends, who were very important to him and who are invited to join us in a celebration of his life. He was the father of Jennifer, grandfather of Zoe, brother of Mieke, Ineke and Annemarie. He was also the nephew of Mieke Gobel, and cousin of Justin, Nicholas and Vincent. He will be dearly remembered and greatly missed by Jenn's mother, Sandy Fournier, and all the other people that were part of his life. It is with deep sadness the we announce the passing of our dad, Norman, (86 years) on February 27th, 2007 at Lakeridge Health Corporation Oshawa, after a courageous battle with cancer. Norm served proudly with the Canadian Army and most notably was the driver for war correspondent Mr. Ross Munroe - journalist and author of "Gauntlet to Overlord". Norman is predeceased by his wife Lillian (nee: Draper), his bestfriend Rick Windsor, brother John, and sister Esther Chappel. He is survived by sister Marian Reeves. He will be greatly missed by daughter Bonnie Hall and husband Ian Ireland, son David Tyler and wife Janis, dear friend Rose Fox and family, grandchildren Nicholas, Tony, Tina, Mark, Allen and Heidi and nine great-grandchildren.
