KLEIBOER, Anton (Tony)
Suddenly, in Toronto, Anton Kleiboer passed away Tuesday, August 14th, 2007. He was the son of the late Johannes and Alida (Telgen) Kleiboer. Dear brother of Joe and Claire of Griffith, Gerry and Helen of Prescott, Herman and Sally of Adams, N.Y., Anne and Barry of Australia and Brian and Ellen of Newmarket. He will also be sadly missed by 18 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 18th, 2007 at Chris Slater Funeral Home, 416 Dibble Street West, Prescott from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Chris Slater Funeral Home.

MOORE, Douglas William
October 17, 1948 - July 17, 2007
After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Douglas William Moore passed away on July 17th, 2007 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 20 years Patricia of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Heather Moore of Brockville, niece Leslie Wade (Aaron) and great-niece Aarelyn of Port Huron, niece Lyndsay of London, aunt Hope Kersh of Brockville, uncle Donald Moore of Kingston and many cousins and friends in Winnipeg and Brockville.
Funeral Service and Cremation have taken place in Winnipeg. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Doug’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, Ontario with Rev. Myra Garvin Officiating.

ST. JOHN, Herbert (Herb)
Peacefully, at his residence with his family by his side on Thursday, August 16, 2007, Herbert (Herb) Allen St. John of Maitland, age 49 years. Beloved husband of Jennifer Ann St. John (nee Appleby). Loving father of Elizabeth, Rachel, Paul and Hannah. Dear son of Bruce and Noreen St. John of Cardinal. Brother of Gail Barton and her husband Wayne of Spencerville, Amy Arthurs and her husband Scott of Maitland. Also survived by his paternal grandmother Irene St. John of Prescott as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. John’s Anglican Church, Prescott Building Fund would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

BEAUBIEN, Joseph Ernest
Retired OPP Staff Sgt.
Suddenly, after a long courageous battle with cancer, Joe passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Sandra. Loving father of Cindy Ducasse (Don) and Debbie Boylan (Dan). Proud Poppie of Danielle, Denise and Emerson. Brother of Jacqui Kielty (Terry), Mary-Wray Brennan (Steve) and Laura-Jean Beaubien. Brother-in-law of Donna Harper (Wayne).
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 from 10 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd., at Highway No. 2) with a reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario would be appreciated by the family.

KEARNS, Melville George
After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Mel died at peace at the age of 62 in the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, August 11, 2007. Predeceased by his loving parents Lorne and Evangeline (Halverson) and his sister Beverley. Loving brother of Lorna (Ted Brazier), Colleen (Pat Belanger), Joan, Jean (Phillippe Lacourse), Cindy (David O’Hara), Lorne (France Laliberté), Jeff (Marianne Long). Also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and many friends.
Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street West, Ottawa on Tuesday, August 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass in Memory of Mel will be held Wednesday, August 15 at St. Mary’s Church (Quyon, Quebec) at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please choose to spend time with a person in need.

EDWARDS, John Andrew George Timothy
Entered into rest on Monday, July 11, 2007. John Andrew George Timothy Edwards of Brockville, age 25 years. Beloved son of George Edwards and the former Charlene Bresse of Brockville. Loving spouse of Erkia Wells. Grandson of Mrs. Elizabeth Edwards of Montreal and Mrs. Beryl Bresse of Westport. Brother of Joseph Edwards of Brockville. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his two grandfathers Mr. John Edwards and Mr. Joseph Bresse.
Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and also on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Westport on Friday, July 20th, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the Knox Presbyterian Cemetery. John was the father of a child yet to be born, and the family would like to set up a trust fund for the child, in lieu of flowers. Please make cheques payable to the John Edwards Trust Fund.

Life Member of R.C.L Br. 542, Westport
Peacefully at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (Perth Site) on Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Malcolm Haire of RR2, Westport, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Joann Balser of 51 years. Dear father of Karen Hodgson (and the late Larry Lemcke) of Westport, Craig of Westport, Glenn (Janet) of Yarker. Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan and Megan. Dear brother of Merv (Janet) Haire of California. Also survived by sister-in-law Beverly Hiser of B. C.; nieces, Barbara (Robert) Lavoie, Susan Shaw, Marilyn Haire, nephew Steven Haire and great-niece Alana Lavoie (Guy Gravelle). Predeceased by sister Lois Shaw.
The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. A Legion Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Private family Inurnment Service at Westport United Church Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service to be held at Branch 542, Legion, Westport following the Memorial Service. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Epilepsy (Kingston), R. C. L. Branch 542, Westport or the Kingston Breast Screening Clinic would be appreciated by the family.

HALE, Victor
Entered into rest peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site, Wednesday, July 11th, 2007, Victor Charles Hale of Brockville, age 64 years. Beloved husband of Margaret Hooton. Dear father of Charity Maggio (Kevin) of Chicopee Massachusetts and Patricia Ann Mills (Mark Sullivan) of Ottawa. Victor is survived by a sister Nora Bellartt of Alberta.
A Memorial Service for Victor will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Tuesday, July 17th, 2007 at 1 p.m. In memoriams to UHKF, for the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

BURNS, James (Bus) Leonard
At the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Saturday, June 9th, 2007, at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Tharon (Davis) Burns of Brockville. Loving father of Michael Burns of Brockville, Wayne Burns of Winnipeg and Sheila Diotte (Jean) of Embrun. Cherished grandfather of Eric Diotte. Predeceased by his sisters Loretta Burns and Emma Giovannone.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service in Celebration of Mr. Burns’ life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged. Officers and members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 96, are requested to gather for a Veteran’s Memorial Tribute on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Suddenly on Sunday, June 10, 2007, Chad Allan Hubert of Brockville, age 28. Son of Kathy Hubert and Kevin Hubert. Dear father of Travis and Sierra. Brother of Shawn. Grandson of Lorna McMaster and Ryan (Barb) McMaster.
Visitation will be held at Grant Brown Funeral Home, Purcell Chapel, Spencerville on Friday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 12 noon. Those who wish, may make memorial donations to MADD.
