Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Husband of the former Yvonne (Mills) Gardner. Dear father of Ronald Collier of Prescott. Grandfather of Tracey, Sarah and Daniel. Also survived by step children Ruland Gardner (Pat), Vance Gardner (Barbara), David Gardner (Sandra), Roger Gardner (Patricia) and Daphne Howell (Steven) and their families. Predeceased by his first wife Leta Breen and by his brother Billy Collier.

Peacefully with his family at his side at the Wellington House Nursing Home, Prescott on Thursday, December 29, 2005, in his 85th year, Jack Shanahan. Beloved husband of 54 years to Theresa (Thorpe) of Prescott. Dear father of Marie Scott (Tom) of Brockville, Patrick (Marg) of Maynard, Michael (Deb) of Ilderton, Bill of Maynard and Joe of Prescott. Grandfather of Shannon Scott, Nick Shanahan, Dan (Megan) Leonard, Tracey (Clint) Day and Michelle Bellenger. Great-grandfather of Connor Day. Brother of Loretta Crobar of Heuvelton, N.Y. Predeceased by his parents Patrick Shanahan and Mary (O’Brien) and by 10 brothers and sisters.

Entered into rest on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Kingston General Hospital. Oswald John Watson of Brockville (formerly of Athelstan and Huntingdon, Quebec) aged 88 years. Beloved husband of the former Doreen Mary Crowther. Dear father of William Watson and his wife Beverly of Athelstan, Quebec and Robert Watson of Hamilton. Grandfather of Kenneth, Michael, Patrick, Ryan and Shawn and great-grandfather of Jeremy. Also survived by a step-daughter Diane Breithaupt and her husband Richard of Naples, Florida, step grandchildren Victoria and Christina.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Watson will be held in Huntingdon Protestant Cemetery, Huntingdon, Quebec at a later date. In memoriams to Sherwood Park Manor would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

CRAWFORD, Edna M.
Suddenly in hospital in Ottawa on Thursday, December 22nd, 2005, Edna M. (Stewart) Crawford, at the age of 70 years. Edna was predeceased by her parents Katie and John Stewart and in 1992 by her beloved husband Frank Crawford. She was the cherished mother and Nan to Diane (Stephen) Cox and their daughter Julianne, Joan (Nigel) Davies and their daughter Nicole, Frank (Reta) and their children Michael and Crystal, and late infant son Joey. Edna will be sadly missed by brothers Don and Jake (Joy) Stewart, sisters Lena Wonch and Phyllis (Tony) Bevan, and the late Myrtle and her husband Jack Crawford. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, all her family, including the Crawford family and many good friends.

Lillian Sheffield passed peacefully into eternity to be with her Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, on December 20, 2005 at the Friendly Manor Nursing Home in Deseronto, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband Linton and son Rodney. She leaves son Ron and his wife Dorothy, grandchildren Dan (Kathy), David (Beth), Daryl (Karen), Tim Sheffield, and Ronda (Chris) Wicklam. Eleven great-grandchildren, Meghan, Emmy, Ian, Kate, Jamila, Jared, Spencer, Nicole and Hudson Sheffield, Madison and Clair Wicklam.
