TYE, Vada M.
In hospital, Smiths Falls, on Tuesday, June 1, 2004, Vada Maxine (Cochrane) Tye in her 79th year. Wife of the late Murray Tye. Loved mother of Chris (Julie) Tye, Karen (Paul) Vaillancourt all of Smiths Falls, Cheryl (Michael) Hughes of Orleans and Marsha (Brian) Saunders of Smiths Falls. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Dear sister of Idelle Eligh of Brockville and Marjorie St. Mary of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday, June 3rd, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Smiths Falls, on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

KIRKWOOD, Helen E.
Entered into rest at the Dundas Manor on February 19, 2004 Helen (Brennan) Kirkwood of Winchester Springs in her 82nd year. Born June 23, 1922, in Cardinal she was the daughter of the late J. Leo Brennan and Elizabeth Tyner. Beloved wife of Kenneth Kirkwood. Dear mother of Stephen (Barb) North Augusta, Gregory (Shirley) Ottawa, and Peter of Winchester Springs. Dear sister of Elizabeth (Don) Barton of Prescott. Also survived by four grandchildren, Dawn (Ingo) Rutenburg of Prescott, Derek (Celine) Kirkwood of Orleans, Philip (Kate) Kirkwood of Chesterville, David Kirkwood of Ottawa, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Walter Brennan, and sister Lois (Bob) Grey both of Cardinal.
Friends may call at the Winchester Funeral Home, 505 Church Street, Winchester on Sunday, February 22, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2004 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

REID, Mansel
At the Brockville General Hospital on February 19, 2004 in his 78th year, Mansel Reid. Son of the late John and Lulah Reid. Brother of Melburn Reid and his wife Helen of Prescott. Predeceased by his wife Phyllis and by brothers and sisters, Gertrude Hunter, Raymond Reid, Erwin Reid, Viola Windover, Reginald Reid and Marie Gabriel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Chris Slater Funeral Home, 416 Dibble Street West, Prescott from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, February 23, 2004 at 11 a.m. Cremation with interment at Maynard Cemetery in the spring. For those wishing the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

CROWDER, Bernice
At the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, December 14, 2003 at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of Ernest Crowder of Brockville and loving mother of Perry Crowder (Linda) of Prescott, Wayne Crowder (Nikki) of Cornwall and Donna Crowder of Brockville. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Darin, Christopher and Matthew and by her great-grandson Austin. Sister of Helen Hall (Harold) of Brockville, Betty Guild (Stan) of Mallorytown, Roy and Gerald Hannah, both of Kingston. Predeceased by brothers Morris and Everett Hannah.
A Private Family Gathering and Ceremony will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, December 17, 2003. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged.

GREEN, Anna “Marie” (nee White)
Peacefully at home on Sunday, December 14, 2003 in her 86th year, Anna Marie Green, formerly of Westport. Beloved wife of the late Harold H. Green. Predeceased by her parents Vince and Minnie White. Loving mother of: Beverly and Francis Hunt, Newburgh; Pat and Tim Andrews, Napanee; Don and Liz Green, Tamworth; Mary and Donald McNeill, Brockville; Bob and Madeline Green, Roblin and Dave and Holly Green, Deseronto. Sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Helen McClure, Brockville; Clare White, Ottawa; Leo, Kingston; Rose Landon, Kingston; Jean Neill, Vancouver; Frank, Kingston; Walter, Kingston; Billie, Smiths Falls and Carole Doyle, Smiths Falls. Predeceased by her sister Millie Earle and her brother Joe. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home, 448 Camden Road at Newburgh Road, Napanee K7R 1G1, (613-354-3722) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Funeral Mass from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Friends desiring may contribute to the H&S Foundation or the M.S. Society.

McNAUGHT, Gladys
Gently with Joan and Jerry by her side, Gladys went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 14, 2003, the former Gladys Huena Francis of Brockville, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilbert Spicer and Kenneth McNaught. Dear mother of Joan McMillan and her husband Jerry of Brockville, Ronald Spicer and his wife Sue of Trenton. Survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. Sister of William Apps and his wife Bea of Cambridge. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a grandson Jeffery McMillan and a sister Shirley Burchell.

MORRIS, Doris Lucille
At the Kingston General Hospital on December 14, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Morris. Dear mother of Ruth VanderVelde (Peter) of Brockville and Dorothy Amy (Kevin) of Calgary. Loving grandmother of Doris and her fiance Troy Barry, Natall (Eric Shay) and Joey VanderVelde, Robin, Austin, Kristen and Sarah Amy. Also survived by a great-grandson Ethan Barry. Predeceased by her sister Irma Chant.

ECKHARDT, Otto
Entered into rest at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital on Sunday, November 30th, 2003, Otto Eckhardt of Brockville age 75 years. Beloved husband of Magda Eckhardt. Dear father of Gabrielle Eckhardt-Rohrich (Klaus) of Cobourg. Survived by step-grandchildren Elizabeth, Klausie and Jonathan Rohrich. Also survived by sisters-in-law AnneMarei and Charlotte both of Germany.

HENDERSON, Robert
At the Brockville General Hospital on Monday, December 1, 2003 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Stark) Henderson. Stepfather of Rev. John Bodkin of Langley, B.C., and Leslie Bodkin. Survived by his four grandchildren Andrea, Jennifer, Jodi and Sherry, and by his brother William Henderson and his wife Joyce of Lindsay. Fondly remembered by his dear friend Elaine Schultz and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Donald and James Henderson.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A ceremony in celebration of Mr. Henderson’s life will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. Officers and Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 96, will hold a Veteran’s Service of Remembrance on Thursday at 7 p.m.

KENNY, Fannie Eileen
1916-2003
Peacefully at Trillium Ridge on Monday, December 1, 2003 in her 87th year, Fannie Kenny. Beloved wife of the late Nathan Kenny. Fannie is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Wayne Teeple) and Margaret (William Hart), her five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer, and Laura Teeple and Stephanie and Joseph Hart, also her great-granddaughter Emma Pierce. Dear sister of Victoria Nuttal and LeRoy Horton. Predeceased by her parents Sam and Wilhelmena Horton and brothers, Herbert and Ford Horton.
Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (900 Counter Street, Kingston) on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Fannie’s memory.
