KENNEDY, Gerry
It is with great sadness that the family of Gerry Kennedy announces his sudden passing at Ajax Pickering Hospital on January 26th, 2009.
He leaves behind his darling “Doogie”, Noreen, wife of 55 years, and his two children Sharon (Kennedy) Baker and her husband David of Pickering Ontario and Dave Kennedy and his wife Patti of Barrie, Ontario. His grandchildren, Jeff, Joel and Sabrina Kennedy and Taylor and Meghan Baker will miss their Poppa, as will his great-grandchildren, Noah Kennedy and Sarah and Andrew Kennedy.
Gerry was born in Nova Scotia, married and raised his children in Newfoundland, and lived and worked in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. Gerry was a Chartered Accountant and was awarded a Life Membership in 2000 in recognition of his contribution to the profession. Gerry was active in his community and had many hobbies, including amateur radio, video production and radio controlled aircraft.
A private family ceremony will be held in Ajax, followed by a celebration of Gerry’s life at 45 Cumberland Terrace at 2:00 on Saturday, January 31, 2009. A short ceremony will take place at 3:00.

Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Monday, January 26, 2009 in her 75th year.
Marguerite, beloved wife of Peter Meier for 53 years. Loved and cherished mom of Karen Hills, Wayne Meier, Linda Snowden and the late Peter Meier. Grandmother to seven girls Katrina, Rachel, Felicia Hills, Marisa Snowden, Jennifer and Erica Meier and Aby Ayling Meier. Great-grandma to six boys Austin, Gavin, Ethin, Joshua, Mike, Mason and one pending. Sister of Ron and Hazel Munroe.
At Marguerite’s request cremation has taken place at Bowmanville Crematorium.

Gérard Rancourt, proudly served four & a half years overseas, in the Second World War and passed away in Saint-Georges, Québec at the age of 88 and 9 months.
