Passed away on January 9th, 2009 in his 57th year.
Father to Cheryl and Sandy. Grandfather to Josh, Ally, Becca, and Tasha. Brother to Debbie, Jim, Cathy, and Kelly. He will be missed by all.

BOSE (née Blase), Gerda Thea Meta
Age 74, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Toronto East General Hospital late on January 8, 2009.
Mrs. Bose’s passing is deeply mourned in Canada by her husband of 45 years, Sanjit Kumar Bose, her son Ralph Tarun Bose, daughter-in-law Anna Ewa Bose (née Wójcik) and in Germany; her sister Gisela Schwalba (née Blase), cousins, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.
Many condolences have been received from close friends in Oshawa/Whitby, Toronto, Kincardine, Europe and other parts of Canada/USA and from her in-laws in India, for which the family is very grateful.
In accordance with Gerda’s wishes, a private funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, with a Memorial and Celebration of Gerda’s life to take place at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Saturday March 7th, 2009 at 4pm. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society.
She will be missed by all who were privileged to know her.

Peacefully passed away at Copernicus Lodge, Toronto, on Thursday, January 8, 2009 in his 96th year.
Beloved husband of the late Babs Garson. Dearest father of Teresa & Tony and missed father-in-law of John Powrie and Christine Garson. He will also be remembered by Nicola Garson. He will be sadly missed by friends and relatives. The Garson family came to Canada from Britain in 1952 and accomplished a rewarding life in this wonderful country. They lived in Toronto and enjoyed their farming life and friends & involvement in the Bowmanville community.
Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Monday, January 12th, 2009 from 10-11 am. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11am.
