EVENISS, John David

He surprised us several times over the years coming through medical issues we were told he wouldn't survive. But, this time it wasn't meant to be. He passed away in his 66th year.

He is remembered by all his family, his friends and his ever helpful and caring neighbours. He was a wonderful Papa to Andi-Lynn, Dakota, Ashanti, Kaden, Kierra-Rayne and Riley. John also got to meet and hold his brand new great granddaughter Avalyn. He was looking forward to sharing some "precious moments" with her. My Dad was always a dreamer and a lot of the time his dreams didn't come true.

In lieu of flowers, I think it would be a great idea to make a donation to The Make-A-Wish Foundation so he can help make their dreams come true. Memorial Donations may be made through the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, with whom the arrangements have been entrusted.

A Celebration of John's life will take place at Ice Sports, 1401 Phillip Murray in Oshawa on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 2 pm - 4 pm.

Memorial Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Saturday October 3rd, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, October 4th, 2009 at 2 pm.
