LUKASIEWICZ - After a brief but valiant fight with cancer MICHAEL THEODOR LUKASIEWICZ, born August 18, 1917 slipped into a final slumber on Thursday, August 15, 2002 at the age of 84. Devoted husband of Margard (nee Binkle) and esteemed father of Ellen & Franz Brunath (Florida), Michael Lukasiewicz (Sarnia), and Gerry & Donna Lukasiewicz (London). Cherished Opa of Franz-Erich, and Rudy Brunath (Florida), Jeff & Jamie Lukasiewicz (Sarnia), Jennifer Lukasiewicz (Sarnia), Arthur & Erin Lukasiewicz (Sarnia), Theresa Lukasiewicz & Scott Patterson (Sarnia). Dear great-Opa of Heather Brunath, Kyle & Karli Lukasiewicz, Teegan Lukasiewicz & counting. Michael was a strong man with a passion for life and his family. He was a long time member of the local 663 & had a passion for horses & all things outdoors. He was predeceased by his parents, Janko & Tekla Lukasiewicz in Poland, and daughter-in-law Patricia (Luther) Lukasiewicz. Loved by all; he will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place.
