SAVERY, Robert Daniel -at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 26, 2002, in his 48th year. Robert, beloved son of Irene Savery and the late Robert. Father of Carrie-Jean, Keith, Chad, Cory, Candice and grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Dianne Birch, Shirley Rhodes, both of B.C. and Jack Savery of Brampton. Special friend of Joanne Stobbs and her children DeeDee Bourgon and husband Rob, John & Lori, Leeann, Lisa and 5 grandchildren. Cremation will be followed by the family receiving friends at the Mundell Funeral Home 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Saturday afternoon, June 29th, from 1 PM until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 3 o'clock. If desired, Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Dear mother of Bradley and wife Jo-Ann of Ottawa, Deena and husband Gordon Smith, Cindy and husband Kevin Lovell, all of Orillia. Loved grandmother of Jessica, Valerie, Collin, Jacob and Jocelyn. Sister of Leslie Vera, Patricia and the late Chester, Erva, and Ainsley Cremation will be followed by the family receiving friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday afternoon, June 28th from 2 PM until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 3 o'clock. Interment at St. Andrew's - St. James' cemetery , Orillia, at a later date. TELFORD, NORMAN ROY (Life long resident and Farmer of Ardtrea; Norman Devoted 10 years of service as Councillor & Deputy Reeve of then , Orillia Township) At the Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital, early on Tuesday morning, June 4th, 2002 in his 86th year. Norman Telford, beloved and devoted husband for 64 years of Ruth (nee Robertson). Proud Dad of Ray (Lois), Margaret (Dennis Robinson, deceased), Kathleen (Albert Stanton, deceased), Roy (Brenda), Ralph (Karen) & Joan (Ken Penley). Caring Grandad to Tony, Marie, Rick, Shawn, Todd, Mark, Lisa, Tracy, Krista, Dallyn, Darren, Adam, Jason David, Trevor and their families and special grandpa of 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Myrtle McLean and the late William Telford. Uncle to many neices & nephews. The late Mr. Norman Telford will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Thursday. A Service to honour and remember Norman will be held in the chapel on Friday morning, June 7th at 11 o'clock. Interment St.Andrew's-St.James' cemetery , Orillia. If desired, sympathy through donations can be made to the OSMH Building Fund, OSMH Oncology Department or the Ardtrea United Church would be appreciated.

Thelma Ayers (nee, Mawdsley) of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Joseph Ayers. Loving mother of:- Mary Sears (Robert); Eleanor Bloom (Stewart); Iris Snow (Ford); Andy Ayers; Linda Banash (Mark Thomson); Carl Ayers (Faith); Gilbert Ayers; Louise Jackson (Michael); Edith & Peter both predeceased. Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sister of Lilly Johnstone, Laura Tudhope, Olga Ziemann, and Charles Mawdsley all predeceased. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The late Mrs. Thelma Ayers will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. Sunday and on Monday afternoon, September 16th in the chapel from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 o'clock. Interment :- St. Andrew's - St. James' cemetery , Orillia. If desired, Memorial Donations to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Prices Corners or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be gratefully appreciated.

Bastedo, Phyllis

Bastedo, Phyllis (nee Drinkwater) Peacefully at Victoria House, Orillia on Saturday, September 7, 2002 in her 86th year. Born on March 12, 1917 and raised in Orillia at Northbrook. Daughter of Mary Aline (nee Blanchet) and John Sumner Drinkwater. After her Mother s death in 1927, Norah moved to Kapuskasing to live with her mother s sister, Floss and her husband Ray Myers. Norah returned to Orillia to live with her father after he married Kathleen Nuthall in 1931. In 1943, she married Carleton C. T. Bastedo and resided in Toronto. After her retirement in 1983, she returned to Orillia and beautifully restored the family home, Northbrook, which has been in the family for 160 years. Norah will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Janet Aline and her husband, Dawson Lees and Phyllis Ann and her husband Stephen Peck. She will be remembered forever by her grandchildren, Stephanie (nee Lees) and her husband Patrick Rummel, Erin Lees and Jillian and Ryan Peck. Norah is survived by her dear sister Ann (Mrs. Norton Orser) and brothers, John (Rusty) and Richard Drinkwater. The family will receive visitors at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street, North, Orillia, on Monday, September 9, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and at St. Lukes "Prices Corners" Anglican Church on Tuesday, September 10 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 o clock, followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Luke s Church would be greatly appreciated. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Thank you to all the staff and friends at Victoria House for their love and kindness.

Loving mother of Murray Cleland & wife Rosalind of Orillia. Dear grandmother of Jason Cleland of Barrie, Shereen & husband Russell Worrad of Black Diamond, Alberta, and Todd Cleland of Orillia. Great grandmother of Emily, Kyra, and Hannah. The late Mrs. Hazel Cleland will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service, at St. James' Anglican Church, 58 Peter St. N., Orillia, on Saturday afternoon, August 10th at 1 o'clock. Interment : Parklawn cemetery , Toronto on Monday. If desired, memorial donations to the Helping Hands Supportive Housing, Orillia or St. James' Anglican Church, Orillia would be gratefully appreciated. Will be sadly missed by his brother Daniel, sisters Sarah, Janette & Abigail Conway. Loving son of Glen Conway & wife Margaret Ayers of Oro-Medonte, Marlene Conway & fiance Marc Larocque of Dunnville. Dear grandson of Norman & wife Catherine Conway, Virginia & husband Leonard (predeceased) Salerno all of Hamilton and Edna & husband Gilchrist (predeceased) Ayers of Oro-Medonte. Also loved by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The late Matthew Conway will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia, from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Sunday. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday afternoon, August 26th, at 1 o'clock. Interment St.Andrew's - St. James' cemetery , Orillia. Jack Cox, of Orillia beloved husband of the late Violette C. (nee, Bresso). Loving father of Wayne & wife Mae of Orillia. Loving grandfather of Stephen and Jodi. Dear brother of Elsie, (Mrs. John Speck), Elizabeth, Lily, (Mrs. Robert Taylor), Florence, (Mrs. Anthony VanAndel), Arthur, and Myrtle, (Mrs. Robert Sutherland) all predeceased. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The late Mr. Jack Cox will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 7 - 9 P.M. Sunday and 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday. Then to St. James' Anglican Church, Coldwater and Peter Streets, Orillia, for Funeral Liturgy with Eucharist on Tuesday afternoon, September 3rd at 3 o'clock. Interment : St. Andrew's - St. James' cemetery , Orillia. Ken Craig, of Orillia, beloved husband of Elaine ("Tot") (nee Arens). Loving father of Sharon & husband Ray McCullough, Jim & wife Diane, all of Orillia. Also loved by his grandchildren, Kelly, Lori, Jennifer, and Vicky. Dear brother of Ron & wife Fern, Stan & wife Joan, all of Orillia and Lorne predeceased. Will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Marie Craig of Oshawa, Marg Sanderson of Orillia, brother-in-law Harry Arens and wife June of Orillia, and many nieces and nephews. As per Ken's request, there will not be any public visitation or funeral service.
