Edward Dorfman, of Orillia and formerly of Toronto, beloved husband of 66 years of Doris Dorfman (nee, Urch). Father of Lionel (Karen), Michael (Denyse), and Brian (Charlotte). Grandfather of Robert, Sandra, Stephen, Marc, Andrea, Andrew, Graham, Patrick and great grandfather of Sydney & Phoebe. Brother of Helen Barstow, Leo & Irma both predeceased. As Edward requested, there will be no funeral service. The family will receive friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Thursday afternoon, October 3rd from 2 - 4 P.M. for a Celebration of Life Visitation. A Private Family Interment : will be held at a later date at St. Andrew's - St. James' cemetery , Orillia. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.

Beloved husband of Olive (Oakley). Predeceased by son Paul. Loving father of Gregg and Sharon of Port Credit, Barry and Beverley of Brampton. Devoted grandfather of Jane and Christine. Hewitt, Beverley M. ("Bev") - at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 19, 2002. Bev Hewitt, aged 87 years, was a lifelong resident of Orillia. Bev was employed at the former Sterling Trust Company, Orillia, as manager for 17 years and prior to that, as an employee of the former Canada Electric Castings Ltd. for 30 years. Bev was an avid curler and had served as President of the Ontario Curling Association 1975-1976.. His many humanitarian efforts included volunteering for 32 years with the Orillia Chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Harriett (nee, Gilbert), his beloved daughter Sheila and her husband Jack Robertson of Hamilton, his dear grandchildren Andrea and Scott, his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Layton of Toronto, sister-in-law Betty and her husband Frank Gergel of Michigan. The late Mr. Beverley M. Hewitt will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, ON L3V 5C1 (705)325-2231 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday.
