Born in Pinkerton, Greenock Twp., Bruce County, Ontario, daughter of the late Wesley and Ethel (Pinkerton) Birrell. Dearly loved mother of Miss J.M. Alexandra Douglas of Toronto. Step-mother of Mrs. Herbert Daryl Morgan of Port Dover. Dear sister of Mrs. Elizabeth Williams of London. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Zavitz and Mrs. Grace Radford and by a brother, Harold Birrell. QUITTENTON - After a life long battle with lung disease, Esther passed away at her home in Edmonton, Alberta, on February 5, 2002. Esther was born in St. Thomas, on November 15, 1954. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Williams of St. Thomas, her father Doug Williams and his partner Diane Stafford also of St. Thomas. As well, a sister Diana and her husband Lee Player, and a brother Mel Williams and his wife Brenda, all of St. Thomas. Special Auntie to Christopher Player, his wife Angela and children Devon and Katelyn, and to Leeanna Player and her fianc Paul Jordan. Remembered by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Services incomplete. CAMPBELL - Irene of St. Thomas, a retired Secretary, passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2002. She was born in North Yarmouth and was the daughter of the late Albert D. and Margaret (Paterson) Campbell. Miss Campbell was employed for a number of years at the Workmen s Compensation Board in Toronto before transferring to the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital as a Medical Secretary and later retiring from the same. She was a member of the Ontario Quarter Century Club. Loved aunt of Donna and her husband Doug Penhale of R.R.8 St. Thomas and Keith Campbell of R.R.8 of St. Thomas. Dear great aunt Lisa and her husband Ryk Snetselaar, Cathy and her husband Dave Humphreys and David Penhale and dear great, great aunt of Megan and Mark Snetselaar. Predeceased by a brother Lorne A. Campbell (1984) and a sister-in-law Nora Campbell (Feb.2000). She was the last of her family. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Thomas cemetery. CONRADE - Curtis Thomsley of Toronto and formerly of St. Thomas, on Sunday, February 3, 2002, at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, in his 75th year. Predeceased by his father Curtis Abel Conrad and his loving mother Sarah Ann (Gerrard) Conrad. Loved brother of Connie and her husband Donald Enman of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Calvin Conrad of St. Thomas, Cameron and his wife Sharon Conrad of Kitchener and Carol and her husband Gary Mailing of Union. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Curtis was a successful land developer in Mississauga and was still actively working in the Toronto area. He was a generous benefactor throughout his life to a number of charities. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Rev.
