After a long illness, our Mother peacefully made the transition from this life into Eternal Life. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl Clark (1994), and cherished mother of Sharon Patterson (the late Russ, 2005), Carol Rankin (Maurice), Faith Clark, Laurie Clark (Diana), Sylvia Mills (Dennis), and Jim Clark (Brenda). Loving and proud Grandmother of ten and Great-Grandmother of seventeen. Dear sister of June McMath (the late Mac), Donald Herrington (Margaret), Mary Smith (Morley) and sisters-in-law Georgina Herrington and Elizabeth McNally (the late Norman). Predeceased by brothers Bill and John Herrington and sister Marion Herrington. Our mother will be remembered for her devotion to family and her church. She loved to entertain and many have enjoyed her hospitality and excellent food. Our parents both enjoyed their four generations, and loved having grandchildren around them. They were also very fond of their large extended families. Mom made good use of her long distance telephone plan. Mom and Dad enjoyed traveling, and both found fulfillment in serving their church and community. At the Kingston General Hospital in his 89th year. Hans immigrated to Canada in 1951 from Denmark. He is predeceased by his parents Karen and Valdema Larsen, his sisters Gerda Petersen and Doris Hansen; and his brothers Sven; Richard and Paul Larsen. Survived by his brother George Larsen; Erna Poulson and Lise Christensen. Uncle of Vibeke Brooks (late Don), companion Jack Mead; Erna Loyst (Gary); Knud Petersen (Carol); Gunnar Petersen (Maureen); Connie Snudden (Ron) and many nieces and nephews in Denmark, Canada and the United States. Hans will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends. A Graveside Service will be held at the McDowall Memorial cemetery in Sandhurst on Saturday, September 17 at 12:00 noon.
