Morrison - At London Health Sciences Centre Westminster Campus on Tuesday April 16, 2002. Colin Morrison of St.Thomas and formerly of Dutton and Dunwich Township in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Moody) Morrison (1998). Caring and devoted father of Ron Morrison and his wife Mary of Newmarket, Dawn McWilliam and her partner Jack Evans of London. Loving grandfather of John Morrison and his wife Johanna of Aurora, Andrea Summer and her husband John of England and Steve McWilliam and his wife Jennifer of London. Dear brother of Cassie Black of Windsor. Sadly missed by his good friend Mary Jeffrey of St. Thomas. Predeceased by his brothers Cliff and Stuart and sister Mary Morrison. Relatives and friends will be received at the Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton St., Dutton Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 where the funeral service will be held on Friday April 19, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment in Fairview cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Mr. Morrison was a former Councellor & Reeve of Dunwich Township.

Payne - Thomas Edward “Trapper” Payne in his 57th year. Survived by sisters Barbara Wilson, Betty Stewart and brother Larry Payne. Loving father Diane and Steven both of B.C. and Teressa of ON. Grandpa to Gregory, Brandon, Anthony and Aisalin. No funeral service is being held. A memorial service for family members who wish to attend will be held at the home of Larry Payne at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2002.

Simic - At Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday, April 14, 2002 Bozo Simic in his 69th year. Dear father of Ellen Hecimovic (Josip), and Myron Simic. Dear grandfather of Daniel Joseph, Michael Matthew, and Ashley Anne. Dear brother of Mara Matijevic, Joso Simic and Pere Simic. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 o’clock. Funeral Mass at St. Leopold Mandic Church, 2889 Westminster Drive, London, on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s cemetery , London. Prayers Thursday morning at 9:30 o’clock. Donations to the Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Brady - At the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus on Wednesday, April 17th, 2002. Kathleen M. “Kay” Brady of Glanworth in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late James C. Brady (1972) and dearly loved mother of Jim and his wife Sylvia Brady, Aylmer; Marie Anne and her husband Bill Clark, St. Thomas; John and his wife Bonnie Brady, Lambeth; Martin and his wife Judy Brady, British Columbia; Gerald Brady, Tom Brady; Terry and his wife Tammy Brady all of Glanworth and Theresa and her husband Mike Lane, Kingsville. Dear sister of Frances Armstrong, London and Marie Hope, Byron. Predeceased by a son Joe, a daughter Sheila and son-in-law Jerry Hewitt and by a brother Bill Johnston. Loved grandmother of Heather, Lori, Scott and his wife Cheree Clark; Joey Brady and friend Kristy; Amy and her husband Chris Jewell; Angela and Ryan Lane; Donna, Carissa and Shalee Brady and dearly loved great grandmother of Courtney and Haley Clark. Kay was a member of Holy Angels’ Church and a member of the Catholic Womens’ League for over sixty years. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas until Saturday morning and then to Holy Angels’ Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Angels’ cemetery. Visitation Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the charity of ones choice.

Callaway - Charlotte (Trudy) at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Bobcaygeon, on Tuesday April 16, 2002. Charlotte (Trudy) (Roszell) Callaway, in her 89th year, beloved wife of the late Kirwin John Callaway (September 6, 1993). Dear mother of Paul and his wife Tineke of R.R. 33, Bobcaygeon; Patricia Jane and her husband Gordon Barnes of British Columbia and step mother of Dorothy (Joan) Giacone of New Jersey and the late Kirwin Callaway. Survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean Wigood; Anne Rokeby-Thomas both of Cambridge; Mabel Laing of Kingston and the late Ernest; Norman (Sam) and Wilfred Roszell. Resting at Crieff Presbyterian Church, Crieff, Ontario, (Friday 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.) where funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon, April 19th, at 2:30 o’clock. Interment Crieff Presbyterian Church cemetery. Mcgill - At the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, April 17, 2002. Allen D. McGill of St. Thomas, in his 79th year. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, May 17, 1923, he was a resident of Port Stanley and St. Thomas since 1957. Mr. McGill was a retired employee of Brown-Fintube, St. Thomas. Father of Penny Kay and dear friend of Pat and Rose Ennis, Nancy and Jim Appleford and their son Kristopher, Bob and Gladys Burch and the late Phyllis Dionne (2001). At the request of Mr. McGill, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Cremation to take place. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St.Thomas entrusted with the arrangements.

Shaw - Shirley I, at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Mary Bucke Street, St. Thomas, on Sunday, April 14, 2002. Shirley (Williams) Shaw, in her 73rd year, wife of the late Bruce H. Shaw. Mother of Rory Robertson and his wife Carol of London, Trevor Robertson of London, and Craig Robertson of Lucan. Brother of Douglas Williams of St. Thomas, Eileen Carrington and her husband Bill of Collingwood, Gary Williams and his wife Joyce of Langley, B.C., Clare Williams and his wife Judy of Nova Scotia, and the late Edwin Williams of Langley, B.C. She is also survived by her two grandsons and two great-grandsons. Cremation took place at Woodland Crematorium, London. A memorial service was held at Central United Church, St. Thomas, on Monday evening. Interment will be made in Elmdale Memorial Park. The R.E. Allen Funeral Chapel, St. Thomas was in charge of the arrangements. The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Caressant Care Nursing Home for their kindness and support while Shirley was in their care.
