FOLLETT, Alec Garfield at the Humber River Regional Hospital, Toronto, on Monday August 25th, 2003. Al Follett of Sandy Cove Acres, Innisfil, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Struth) Follett. Loving father of Barbara O’Sullivan (Tom) of Toronto, Ron Follett of Barrie, and Glen Follett (Sandra) of Aurora. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Shawn, Cindy, Nicole, Alec, Christopher, and great-grandchildren Michael, Taylor, and Samantha. Dear brother of Jack Follett (Joan), and Betty Bailey (Dave). Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (Minet’s Point Road at Yonge Street ) Barrie, on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 27th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

FLOOD, Ruth A. (nee Anderson ) passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital – Metropolitan Campus, on August 20, 2003 at the age of 74 years. Late of Essex & Maidstone. Wife of the Late James (1988). Daughter of the late Nathanael & Etta Anderson. Loving mother of Brad Flood. Proud grandmother to Sarrah, & Chantal. Mother-in-law to Melanie Flood. Dear sister of Donald & Margaret Ann Anderson of Kansas. Ruth will be dearly missed by her sister’s-in-laws & brother’s-in-law along with her many nieces, nephews & friends. Ruth was a long time member of the United Church Women’s League. Visiting at the Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot Street N., Essex, (776-7378) on Saturday from 7–9 PM, Sunday 2-5 PM & 7-9 PM. Family and friends are asked to gather on Monday, August 25, 2003 at the Bethel-Maidstone United Church at 9:30AM until time of service at 10:30AM. Rev. Don Hansford officiating. Son and Son-In-Law of the late Douglas and Mary Fearman, and Lloyd and Dorothy Rutherford. Cherished Brother of Gord and Pam, Carol and Wayne Quinn, and Brenda and Wayne Moerschfelder. Special Uncle of Shannon, Kara, Marsha, Kelly, David and B.J., Stacey and Chris, Alison, and Ameila. The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd. Hagersville on Friday 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Hyde & Mott Chapel on Sunday June 22, 2003 at 2 p.m. Interment Gore cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the West Haldimand General Hospital Foundation.

Cherished daughter of Archie & Josie Ferguson of Orillia. Loving mother of Robert Fagan & wife Connie of Brampton, Ted Fagan & wife Marlene of Ajax, Peter Fagan & Linda and Michael Fagan & wife Billie-Sue all of Orillia. Step-mother of Eugene Duffy & wife Carrie and Gerrard Duffy all of Orillia. Grandmother of Veronica, Danielle, Kelly-Anne, Andrew, Katelyn, Jordan, Thomas, Matthew and step-grandmother of Terry-Jean and Cleo. Dear sister of Josie & husband Leo Backus of Bracebridge. Dianne will be lovingly remembered by niece Michelle, nephew John, cousins and extended family. The late Dianne Fagan will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. Tuesday. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning, October 1st at 10 o'clock. Interment :- St. Michael's cemetery , Orillia.

April 29, 2003 – May 16, 2003, bravely after 18 days “Little Lexie” passed away at Sick Children’s Hospital in London. Loving daughter of Christan Ellwood and Luis Espino. Beloved granddaughter of George and Debbie Ellwood and Graciela and Jose Espino. Dear niece of Scott, Craig and Kitrina and Sarah Ellwood, Flora and Gustavo Gomez and cousins, Megan Ellwood, Giselle and Raquel Gomez. Also survived by great grandmother Betty Girardin and great great grandmother Bertha Girardin. Resting gently in the arms of MéMé, Jinnette and Piedad Campos, surrounded by angels. With tiny footprints left on our hearts, Little Lexie will be with us always. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Tuesday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Michael’s Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Fr. Proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Dearest brother of Marie Markham of Maidstone, Cecile Hebert of Tecumseh, and brother-in-law to Denise Emery. Leo was a retired employee of the Chrysler Corporation with over 30 years of service. Predeceased by his son Robert (1989) and brother Edward (1977). Resting at the Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot St. N., Essex (776-7378) on Wednesday, from 2 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm., Thursday from 2 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Parish prayers to be held on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm. Funeral service to be held on Friday, March 7, 2003 at 10:00 am thence proceeding to Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Talbot St. S., Essex, for mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Loving mother of John & his wife Sharon, and grandmother of Alicia and Janek & fiancee Shereen. Predeceased by granddaughters Stefanie & Barbara and parents Walenty & Maria Kuzma. Dear friend and companion of Ted Grad. Also special friend of Barbara Sokol. Stefanie was a past employee of St. Josephs Hospital as part of the kitchen staff; was a life member at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, active in the choir; and a member of the Polish Alliance of Canada. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday October 3, 2003 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (Rosedale at Ellwood). Interment Our Lady of Mercy cemetery. Dear sister of Raymond Hilts of New Liskeard, Myrtle, Ephriam, & Rhoda all predeceased. Lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews. The late Mrs. Marie Dowanik will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Wednesday morning, September 17th from 10 o'clock until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 12 Noon.
