Brown: Helen Margaret Peacefully with her family at her side at the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville on May 24 2003, Helen (Nichol) Brown age 77 years, devoted wife of the late Donald Brown , loving mother of Kirk Brown of Hagersville, sister of the late Olive Awde, Hazel Nichol, Allie Aitchison & James Nichol, sister-in-law of Madeline Nichol of Hagersville & Betty & James Addison of Dunnville, & the late Verna & Howard Daniels Sr. & Stanley & Helen Brown, also fondly remembered by several nieces & nephews. Helen was involved for many years with the family business, Brown’s Food Master Red & White, Hagersville, also a member of the Assembly of Friends, Janet Bonney Friendship Group & the R.C.L. Branch # 164 Aux. The Family will honour Helen’s life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B.Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., Hagersville 2-4 & 7-9pm Monday. Funeral Service in the Hyde & Mott Chapel on Tuesday at 2pm. Cremation with burial of cremated remains at the Hagersville cemetery at a later date. As an expression of your sympathy donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the WHGH Foundation.

Suddenly on Monday May 19th 2003, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Warren. Loving mother of Sylvia (Keith Clarke), Wayne (Phyllis) and Ida Fay (Barry Dartnall). Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd., at Roosevelt, on Thursday May 22, 2003 from 2to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Cantley United cemetery QC. For those who wish, a donation to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Medical Attache Canadian Embassy Austria It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of our beloved Jeremy in Vienna, Austria of a Cerebral Haemorrhage at the age of 51. Much loved husband and best friend of Judy (nee Stokes). Wonderful dad of K.C. (Kathleen Claire) and dear step dad to James Stark. Devoted and beloved son of Kathleen Brown and the late Donald Brown (Jan. 21, 2003), of London, England. Jeremy will be fondly remembered by Judy's family John Stokes and his daughter Kaitlyn of Dunrobin, Jerry and Lucy Stokes and sons Nelson and Christopher, who was Jeremy's God son, of Douglas ON, and Jayne and Jim Leveck and Catherine and Nathan of Arnprior. Also will be missed by his mothers family in England. Jeremy will be missed and remembered with love and great memories by family and good friends worldwide. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), on Monday March 3, 2003, and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at St. Patrick's Basilica, 281 Nepean Street Ottawa at 10:00 a.m. Cremation. BROWNLEE, Donald Arthur, CD RCAF Group Captain, Retired Peacefully in hospital on Sunday, April 27, 2003 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of May and predeceased by Eileen. Loving father of Brenda and Barbara (Chris). Cherished grandfather of Andrea (Dave), Rose-Ann, Ryan, Jeff, Aaron, Donald and great-grandfather of Benjamin. Predeceased by brother George. Don was a WWII Veteran, serving from 1935-1967 in the RCAF. He received the Croix de Guerre with Silver Star and the France and German Star Defence Medal. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Sixth Line, Dunrobin, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment St. Paul’s Anglican cemetery. For those wishing, a memorial donation to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 4. Beloved sister of Frances, Pauline, Ruth and Pat. Predeceased by sister Georgina. Family wish to acknowledge with appreciation the kindness and compassion of Dr. Gail Webber and Dr. A. Peloquin. Predeceased by his grandparents Merle and Stan Ayliffe and Edward and Winnifred Brunette. Family and friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Thursday March 20, 2003 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday, March 21, 2003 from 1 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers and to honour his love of hockey, donations to the Arnprior Junior B Packers would be appreciated, the proceeds to go towards the betterment of hockey for kids in West Carleton.

Brother of Pat (Laura), Mary Bradley (Ed McMahon), Berna Turner, Brian (Mavis), Doris Wilcox (Mervin) and predeceased by brothers Charlie, Eddie, Fred, Dave and sisters Ethel and Alice. Special thanks to the medical and nursing staff of A5 and Dr. Carolyn Atkinson of the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus. Loved grandfather of Kevin Chrysler, Shelley Murphy (Rob), Brandi, Kyle and Sherri-Lynn Burgie, Ben, Nigel and Nathan Burgie, Andrew Boorman and great-grandfather of Avery Chrysler and Kaylee Burgie. Brother of Betty Pain of Barrie, Susan Labatt of London and the late Ed Burgie and Barb Morrison. Special Uncle of Penny Clark of Orillia and many other nieces and nephews. The late Mr. Daniel Burgie will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren James, Bradley, Thomas, Maureen, Colleen, Erin, Jeffrey, Robert and her great grandchildren and great great grandchild. Dear sister of Robert and Murray Morton and the late Wesley, John, Earl, Barry and Norman. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of Martha & the late Raymond Lauzon of Windsor, and sister of Henriette of Chatham and Lorette of Tecumseh. The late Mrs. Lucille Burke will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia, on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. and Monday from 12:30 - 2:30 P.M. . Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St.,N., Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial, Monday afternoon, December 15th at 3 o'clock. Cremation to follow.
