Fred is survived by his loving wife, Betty, best friend and golfing partner for more than fifty-two years. A Private Family Service, followed by cremation was held on September 12, 2003, as requested by Fred. CULL, Marguerite (Billowes) Suddenly of heart failure early Monday morning, August 11th, 2003, our beloved Marguerite Amelia has left us all too soon, at the young age of 70. Loving mother of Tony, Larry (life partner of Deborah Andrews) and Chris Finn; beloved grandmother of Paris, Nick, Lyndsay, David and little Sydney Mae Amelia and loving companion of Colin Billowes. Marguerite a native of Newfoundland was well known as an early childhood educator before her retirement and help set many an Ottawa child on their way in life equipped with her wonderful values. Well known as a master potter, she was a founding member of Crossroads Canadian Fine Crafts and her pots can be found in a place of pride in many a household. Her loving disposition and outstanding caring made her a friend of many. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family both in Canada and in Florida, where she enjoyed the winters in recent years. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of the heart research funds in her name. The family will be in attendance for a memorial gathering at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, (at Roosevetl) on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial Celebrating her life will be held on friday at in the chapel.
