McLaughlin, Walter

Peacefully in hospital with family at his side, on Thursday, August 12th, 2010, at the age of 83. Predeceased by his wife Lucille Chartrand. Loving father of Diane (Robert Castonguay), Lucie and Suzanne (André Bastien). Cherished grandfather of Martin, Michèle, Christopher, Emmanuel, Nicolas, Marie Pierre, Caroline, Jamie-Lee and Julianne. Loving great-grandfather of Miquael, Damien, Jade, Logan and Harley. Walter is survived by his siblings, Normand, Guy (Anne), Berthe Galarneau and Linda. He was predeceased by one brother and three sisters. He will be sadly missed by many in-laws, nephews, nieces and many friends. Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Monday, August 16th, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 17th, 2010 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in celebration of his life will be held at St-Joseph Church, 2757 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Tuesday, August 17th, at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to the Shepherd of Good Hope would be appreciated. Frenette, Michélle

Peacefully on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010, at the age of 56, following a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph Napoléon Frenette and the late Cécile Monette. She leaves behind her sister Denise Roy, her brother Jacques Frenette (Francine Dubois), her niece Isabel, her nephew Patrick, aunts and uncles, many supportive friends, dedicated care workers and nursing staff. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Tuesday, August 17th, from 1:30 to 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 2 p.m. In her memory, donations to the Ottawa Mission Hospice, 53 Daly Street, Ottawa would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers. passed away on Saturday, August 7th, 2010 at the age of 46 years. Il laisse dans le deuil 3 sœurs, Cécile (feu Arthur Lefebvre), Fernande (feu Euclide Bergevin), Marguerite (feu Roger Lévesque), 2 frères et leurs épouses, Gérard (June Hodge), Jean-Marie (Suzanne Perreault), et une belle-sœur, Géraldine Hamelin (feu Laurent), ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par 9 frères et 1 sœur. François était aimé de tous; partout où il est passé de nombreux amis le pleurent aujourd’hui. Peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 21st at the age of 70. Son of the late Lionel Labelle and the late Reina Blanchet. Beloved husband of Pauline (nee Flanagan). Special thanks to Dr. Ahmed Sati, long-time family physician, and to Dr. Louise Coulombe for her care and understanding during Andy's final weeks. Charette, Richard

Laurent Charette, PhD passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at the age of 86 years with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Émile Charette and the late Marie Bérubé, beloved husband of Laurence (nee Roy), loving father of Monique (Maurice Leclerc), Robert (Christine Paradis), Carmen (Gregory Young) and Marie-Claire (Christian Boutin). He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, his siblings Sr. Paulette Charette and Roger Charette (Monique Grandbois), as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by 12 siblings. Laurent pursued his passion of agriculture through a distinguished career as a researcher with Agriculture Canada in Kapuskasing Ontario (1948-1962) and then as professor and head of the Animal Science Department at Laval University (1977-1981). He later joined the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) (1977-1981) .He dedicated himself to several associations throughout his life and was co-founder of Place Beauséjour in Orleans. He was proud of his accomplishments and had a wonderful life. He will remembered for his devotion to his wife and his family, his generosity and his delighftful sense of humour. We will miss him dearly. The family wishes to sincerely thank the Ottawa Civic Hospital 7th Floor staff for their care and compassion. Richard was a loyal employee with Canada Post for 35 years. Margot passed away on the 21st of June at the age of 83 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dear wife of the late Vincent Barsona, loving mother of Jean (Claire Lévesque), Marie (Richard Beauchamp), cherished grandmother of Jean-François and Julie, dear sister of Françoise MacMillan and Michel Vary. Sincere appreciations go to all the friends and family who have accompanied her during her illness. At her request there will be no visitation. She is also survived by six step children, nine grand children, as well as her nieces and nephews. Il laisse également son frère Rhéal, ses sœurs Julie et Jeannot, sa belle-mère Marie-Claire ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. La famille recevra parents et amis, en présence des cendres, lundi, le 3 octobre 2011 à compter de 9h30 en l’église St-Joseph d’Orléans, 2757 boul. St-Joseph. Le service religieux suivra à 11h00. La famille tient à remercier le personnel de la Résidence Saint-Louis pour les soins prodigués ainsi que leur compassion à l’endroit de Jean-Marc et la famille.
