Louise (née Legault) Lapensée
passed away in Ottawa on April 6, 2003. Dear wife of Robert Lapensée, daughter of the late Philippe Legault and the late Rose Boileau. She will be sadly missed by her children Luc (Elizabeth), Martine (Oscar), Marc (Francine), Isabelle (Denis), her grandchildren Kyle, Matthew, Sophie, Kurt, Alexandre, Caroline, Phillipe and Karyne, her brothers Jean-Jacques (Denise) and François (Micheline). A special thank you to Dr. W. Winzer, Dr. A. Haq, and Dr. Louise Coulombe, and her sister-in-law in particular, Denise Legault, for her loving care given to Louise. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway, on Friday April 11 from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday April 12 from 9 to 10am. A Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes-de-Vanier, 435 Montreal Road, on Saturday April 12, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. In her memory donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Unexpectedly on Friday, March 21, 2003 in her 37th year. Beloved daughter of Keith D. Leonard (Brenda) and Judith Atterbury (Micheal). Loving sister of Scott (Karen) and David Leonard. Cherished granddaughter of Marjorie Seale. Also survived by aunte Joanne Cregg (Rose), Janet McDermid (Lloyd), uncle Grant Leonard (Jean)and Step-brothers Colin (Bobbie) and Brian (Kim) A Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, 325 Sandhill Road, South March, Kanata on Monday, March 31, 2003 at 2pm. For those wishing a donations to the charity of their choice would be appreciated.

In hospital on Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at the age of 81. Beloved wife od the late Peter Lusis. Dear mother of Bigitta Stazdin (Evar). Also loved by her two grandchildren, Christopher and Alison. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Sunday, April 6th from 2-4 and 7-9pm The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, April 7th at 10am. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. As an expression of Sympathy, memorial contributions to the Ottawa Humane Society, 101 Champagne Avenue South, Ottawa, K1S 4P3 would be appreciated by the family.

Life Member and Former President, McPherson Council Bell Telephone Pioneers of America Peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre on Monday, March 24, 2003 in her 97th year. Loving mother of Ian (Jean), and grandmother of Andrew (Laura) and Bruce. Dear sister of Elizabeth Serson, Hilda (the late Arthur) Chapman, Lois (the late Fred), Trowell and the late William and John (Jack) Serson. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 MacLeod Street at O'Connor on Wednesday March 26, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 1230 Bank Street, on Thursday, March 27 at 12 noon. Interment in the Spring at St. Mark's cemetery , Pakenham. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice at May Court would be appreciated. A special thanks to our friend Ross Burns for his thoughtfulness over the years and to the staff of the Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care Unit for their kind and loving care.

She will be missed by many family members and friends. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Rd. at Aviation Parkway, on Thursday, March 27, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial Service will be held at the Tompkins Funeral Home , 63 Garden St., Gananoque on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 1pm. Private interment Gananoque cemetery. Donations may be made to the Ottawa Hospital General Campus. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses on 6 East at the General Campus.

Annie Margaret McCallum
Youngest daughter of the late Sadie and John McCallum. Peacefully passed away in hospital surrounded by loved ones Monday, March 31, 2003, at the age of 76. Will be sadly missed by sisters Phyllis McCargar of Ottawa, Freida Ross (Howard) of Norwood, New York and brother Walter McCallum (Lois) of Clayton, Ontario. Predeceased by brothers Robert, Cecil and Lyle. Annie will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Annie was a long time member of Southminister United Church. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday, April 2, 2003, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, April 3, at 2 p.m. Interment Reid's Mill cemetery in the spring. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the 10th floor staff of the Glebe Centre for their care and compassion.

Survived by his brother Reginald and sisters Marjorie and Janet. Cherished Bama of Tanya, Paul and Mark and great-grandmother of Jordan, Michael and Shae. Dear sister of Raymond (Gaetane), Carmen (Henri), Claude (Bernadette) and predeceased by brother Guy. Will be fondly remembered by many dear friends, especially those who knew her as "Aunt May". Predeceased by three sisters Beatrice and Florence Dunlop, Isobel Denyes and brother Donald. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, after 10am. Saturday, April 5, 2003 until service time in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Beechwood cemetery. Those wishing, may make memorial donations to the West End Villa (Activity Room Renovation).
