Peacefully on January 24, 2004 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Ralph. Cherished mother and dear friend of Margaret Jane Lilly. Devoted grandmother of Christopher (Amy Haggerty) and Michael. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Florence (Craig) Boyd, her sister Lois (Donald Morrow) and survived by her brothers Lloyd (the late Eleanor) and Harold (the late Phyllis). She was a Charter member of Kingsway United Church, a member of the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club and Red Hat Society. Freida devoted many years to volunteer work with her church, the Cancer Society, Civic Hospital and Girl Guides of Canada. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Friday, January 30, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
