Treasured Zaidie of Michelle and Mark, Bryan and Magdalena, Robert and Samantha, Dov and Anna, Eric and Nicola, and Jonathan. Proud great-grandfather of Jonah, Alexa, Adam, Stephanie, Noah, Zachary, Joshua, Abigail, and Gabrielle. Predeceased by his brothers, Max (Bernice) and Chaim Boruch, and his other siblings and family who perished in the Holocaust. ABRAMS, Faye (nee Goldberg). It is with sadness that the family of Faye Abrams announces her passing on Thursday, April 10, 2014, in Toronto. Beloved wife of Laurie Abrams. Loving mother of Rebecca. Daughter of the late Saul Goldberg and the late Bess Sheiner. Special granddaughter of the late Minnie Moscovitch. Faigle is survived by her brothers, Phil Goldberg (Nili) and Peter Goldberg, and by her brother-in-law Howard Abrams (Suzanne). She will be greatly missed by her aunts, many cousins, nieces and nephews, dear friends, and by her colleagues at the Ontario Council of University Libraries, University of Waterloo, and McGill University. Our Mouchicut Jacqui left this world after a long and courageous battle on Thursday, March 20, 2014, surrounded by her adoring family, and with the love of her life by her side. Cherished granddaughter of Selma and the late Harry Goldberg, who is taking care of her in Heaven. Jacqui will forever be loved by "My Marty", Martin Kadoury, and his family. Her kind heart, positive energy, magnetic personality and infectious laugh will be missed by her extended family, many friends, students, colleagues and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
