Passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2017 in the presence of her family at the Hotel-Dieu Hospital in Sherbrooke, QC. at the age of 95.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Russell Rothney of 60 years.
Loving mother of Patricia (John Robinson), David (Shirley Robinson), Susan (Gerald Cook) and Mary Lou (Robert Cusack).
Predeceased by her daughter Diane (Robert Magon), her grandson Michael Robinson (Melanie Mukkala), her sisters Phyllis (the late Curt Robichaud) and Gloria (the late Lachlan Matheson) her brother Russell (the late Joan Dezan) and her nephew Barry Nutbrown.
She is survived by her brother Wayne Nutbrown (Louise Cass) several cousins including Frances Smith, 7 grandchildren: Jennifer Rothney (Andy), Rob Magon (Renata), Julie Magon (Eric), Caitlin and Natalie Cook, Jackson and Grant Cusack; 6 great grandchildren: Nicholas Robinson, Isaiah, Matteo and Jayden Zewdie, Ethan and Austin Wolfe as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Lennoxville United Church, 6 Church, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Saturday, April 1st, 2017 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev. Linda Buchanan officiating. Interment at Malvern Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the CHUS Hotel-Dieu Palliative Care 5th and 6th floor and also the staff of Grace Village for the care given to Arlene.
Memorial contributions to: Alzheimers Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
McHarg (Down), Mary Aveline
1934-2016
DOWN - Mary Aveline McHarg passed away peacefully at CHUS-Fleurimont, on July 1st, 2016 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Edwin Down and daughter of the late Samuel McHarg and Amanda Sarrasin.
Mary leaves to mourn her children Janet (Tim Danard) from Fahler, Alberta, Lynn (Scott Clever) from Sarnia, Ontario, Allan from Mono, Ontario and Brian (Lynay) from Campbell River, B.C.; her grandchildren: Valerie, Matthew (Erin), Jeremy (Desiree) Clever; Joshua (Haley), Caiti (Richard McClelland), Joe, Logan (Adrienne) Down; Kyanna and Xinya; as well as her 6 great-grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her brother Ron (Betty), sister-in-law Louise from Alberta, her brother-in-law Murray (Anne), as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and cherished friends. Mary was predeceased by her sister Bea, and brothers Arthur and Lloyd.
Visitation will be held at the Cass funeral home, 900 Clough St, Ayer's Cliff, on Wednesday July 6th 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. as well as on Thursday, July 7th 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Barnston Baptist Church, Baldwin-Mills-Barnston Rd, on Friday July 8th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at the Ayer’s Cliff cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary Down to the Gideons Bible International of Canada (888-482-4253) would be appreciated by the family.
MacMillan, Angus
June 7, 1931 - June 25, 2016
Loving and devoted husband of Elaine K. (MacLeod) MacMillan, father of Gordon (Candace), grandfather of Rebecca, Chelsea, Katrina and Samantha, and great grandpa to Marilee and Etienne. Also left to mourn are his sister Sarah (late Murray) MacDonald, sister-in-law Carol (Lloyd) Darlington, nephew Keith, nieces Marilyn, Lori and Sheryl, several great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.
As per Angus’ wishes there will be no visitation.
A graveside service will be held at the Gould Cemetery on July 9, 2016 at 11 a.m.

Passed away peacefully at his home in St-Felix de Kingsey, on Wednesday April 6th 2016, Mr. Jerome Morin at the age of 84.
Loving husband of 57 years to Dorothy Morrill, and dear father of Michael (Judy Nelson), Alan (Mary-Frances Enright), Danny (Heidi Lancaster) and Diane (Denis Gauthier). Beloved grandfather of Katelyn, Carly (Stephen Smith), Anthony, Jacob (Rosemarie Allen), Abby, Eliza, Matthew (Kirsten LaSalle), Jimmy, Steven, Chelsea and Luca. Loving brother of Vincent (Carole), and dear brother-in-law of Sylvia, Norma and Beatrice. Jerome is pre-deceased by his Sister, brothers, brother’s-in-law and sister’s-in-law; Augustin (Annette), Raymond, Francis (Rose), Leslie (Jay), Leonard (Dorothy), Lawrence (Phyllis), Mary Ellen (Hans), Wilfred, Joseph, Liola and Paul; his brother-in-law Edgar, and his sister-in-law Lois (Paul). He will also be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, where friends may visit on Friday April 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, and on Saturday from 10 to 11:00 AM. A Funeral mass will be held at St-Luc Catholic Church, St-Felix de Kingsey, on Saturday April 9th at 11:30 AM, followed by the interment in the St-Felix de Kingsey Catholic Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home, Richmond, on Sunday, February 14th, 2016 in his 88th year. Husband of the late Isabell H. MacDonald.
Loving father of Judy, Patsy (Daniel Bachand), Susan, Vicky (Doug Neilson), Dean (Ernie Maala), Kelly (Earl Gracie), and Connie (Rodney Gunter), and predeceased by infant daughter Faye Ellen and grandson Derek. Charles will be greatly missed by fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Resting at the Salon funéraire Fréchette et Desrochers, 31 du Collège, Danville, where friends may visit on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 7 pm to 9 pm, and on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 10 am to 11 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am. Reverand Mead Baldwin officiating. Interment in the Danville Protestant Cemetery at a later date.

Loving father of :Cathy, Murray (Donna) Bobby, Randy (Katie), and Roger; adoring grandfather of Pam (Ryan), Jimmy (Andree), Richard (Natasha) Charlene, Kevin, Brianna and John;and five great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Caleb, Faith, Audrey, Nathan; he will also be sadly missed by his sisters and brother: Pauline (Camille), Irene (Ross) Beatrice (Johnny)and Murray (Gladys), as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Maurice was predeceased by his son Nelson, and daughter Linda, also his brothers Nelson, Wallace, and sister Esther.

Loving step-father of: Richard (Jessica), Nathalie (Erick), and Sonia (Chris). Precious grandfather of: Antoine, Cloé, Tommy, Lyana, Sara, Kevin, Dylan, Maxime, Katia, Katryna, Derek, Kaylob, Jared, the late Kendra and Aaron. Adoring brother of: Anna (the late Laurier), the late Michel (Ruth), the late Pauline (Denis), Angela (Richard), José, Ida (Dale), the late Pierre (Gisèle), and Antonio (France). Claude will also be sadly missed by the brothers and sisters-in-law, many nephews, nieces, cousins, others relatives and friends. He was predeceased by Oscar and Josephine Sevigny.
