George went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday October 22nd 2009, at the age of 83. He was pre-deceased by Joyce Johnston and their loving son Mel, and leaves to mourn, their children; Margie (Lambert), Marilyn (Jim), Jim (Lee), Terry (Donna), Mary (Bryan), Lisa (Tim) and Tony (Darlene). Dear grandfather of Ken (Candy), Sue and Lynda Schroeders; Jimmy (Melissa), Mike (Erica), Emily and Kayla St-Cyr; Mel, Matt, Jacob and Lucretia Coddington; George Coddington; Willow, and Felicity Burns; Roman, Jasmine, Levi and Summer Mason; and Lewis, Krystal, Carolyn, Kyle and Carl Coddington. Loving great grandfather of Courtney and Alyson Schroeders. George also leaves to mourn, his sisters Marjorie Taylor and Muriel Saunders along with his sisters-in-law, his brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Eileen passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont in Sherbrooke on October 6th, 2009 in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Mildred and Charles Horan and beloved wife of the late Roy Carson. Loving mother of Dorothy (John Peartree), Donald (Betty), Dale (Jane), Heather (Dale Savenko) and of the late Janet Carson. Cherished grandma of Robert (Sandra), Trevor (Kathryn) and Leanne (Craig Scott) Peartree, Kathay (Rodney) and Jason (Christie) Carson, Shane (Amanda) Carson, and Justin, Graeme and the late Jacob Savenko. Eileen also leaves to mourn her 9 great grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, Hazel (late Garth Carson), George (Evelyn and the late Margaret), Deveda (late Foster Morrill), C. Douglas (Ann), Elva (Norman Lockwood), and Murdeena (Alex Jordan, and her sister-in-law Zetta (late Everett Olney and dear friend Joe Bell). Pre-deceased by her brother Andrew (late Stella), Leola (late George Kazulak), Gordon (Lucille), and Carl (Brenda). Eileen will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and many friends. Ruby Cornish beloved wife of the late Lennox Booth and loving mother of Diane Butler (Rick), Joan Smith (Ron), Pat Gallagher (Norm), Nancy Butler (Bill), Danny Booth (Pam), Carolyn Weir (Scott) and David Booth. Ruby was predeceased by her son Steven and also her brother Albert 'Corky' and her sister Doris Elson. Ruby was the cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and her loving dog Bert. Leah is survived by her brother Jim Church, her sister Harriet and her dear friend Marion Kemp and was predeceased by her sisters Irene (the late Steven Ball) and Shirley (the late Edgar Duffney) and is also survived by one nephew and serveral grandnieces and nephews. Passed away at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Friday, April 17, 2009, at the age of 71. Loving mother of Alton Deslandes of Massachussetts. Betty was a former student of the Stanstead College and was employed in the three villages. She was involved with several of the local organizations and will be sadly missed by many friends and fellow crafters. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
