Keenan, Kate Brianna

Kate passed away on Friday, July 8, 2005 at the Montreal Children's Hospital, Montreal QC. Born on June 21st at the CHUS, Fleurimont, QC., Kate was the cherished daughter of Timothy Keenan and Maria Enright. Dear sister of Devin, Brogan and Ryley Keenan, and precious granddaughter of Dennis and Agnes Keenan of Richmond QC, and of Brian and Audrey Enright of Winchester ON. Kate also leaves to mourn, her great grandmother Mary Enright of Bromont QC, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste-Bibiane Church in Richmond, on Tuesday July 12th at 2:00 PM, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Tim and Maria would like to extend a sincere thank you to their families, friends and community for their prayers and support throughout this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation, 1 Place Alexis Nihon, 3400 De Maisonneuve blvd., suite 1420, Montreal, QC H3Z 3B8 would be greatly appreciated by the family. Kezar Humphrey, Dorothy

Peacefully at the St. Paul's Home, Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Elwyn. Dear mother of Becky (Winston Fraser) and Byron (Betty Hatch). Dorothy will also be very sadly missed by her grandchildren: Andrea, Charles, Elaine, Elizabeth, David, and Heidi, also nine great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead 819-876-5213 Thursday, May 26, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. where family and friends may come to visit. The celebration of her life will be held in the funeral home, Friday, May 27, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Robert Cargill officiating. Interment to follow in Crystal Lake Cemetery. As a tribute to her memory, donations to the St. Paul's Home, 592 Principale, Bury, QC. JOB 1S0 would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Killoran Peloquin, Gail

Passed away at the Connaught Home in North Hatley on May 3rd, 2005. Gail leaves to mourn her husband of forty years, Gilles; four children, Nathalie (Gavin) of Whistler, BC, Michelle (Louie) of Buck Hill Falls, PA, Ghislaine (Scott) of Ottawa, ON, and Marc (Sophie) of North Hatley, QC; two grandchildren Monica and Liam; and her brother Wayne of Winnipeg, MB. She was pre-deceased by her parents Leonard and Catherine Killoran. Gail was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease six years ago, and has shown great strength and courage while inspiring her family to do the same. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Friday May 6th 2005, at the Ste-Elizabeth Church, North Hatley, QC, officiated by Father Lucien Vachon. All are invited to a reception afterwards, in the adjoining Church hall. In her loving memory, donations to the Alzheimer’s association of Canada would be appreciated; forms will be available at the Church hall. Was welcomed by his Heavenly Father into His Home on Thursday, April 7th 2005 on his 94th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Hill and loving father of Nancy Craig (the late David), Katherine Krentel, John Klinck (Sandra) and Stephen Klinck (Gail). Cherished grandfather of 9 wonderful grandchildren: Alison, Christopher, Jonathan, Caden, Rebecca, Bill (Nicole), Daniel and Robert. Resting at the Huntingville Community Church, Campbell Ave. Huntingville, where friends may call on Saturday, April 9th 2005 from 7 to 9pm and on Sunday, April 10th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm, and on Monday, April 11th from 1 to 2pm. The funeral service will be held at the Huntingville Community Church, Huntingville, Que., on Monday, April 11th 2005 at 2:00pm, Pastor Terry Lapointe officiating. Interment in Huntingville Cemetery at a later date. As memorial tributes, contributions to the Dr. W.J. Klinck Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Kimmis, Ernest V. Peacefully at the IGUS, St. Vincent de Paul Pavillon, Sherbrooke, QC on Saturday, March 12th 2005 in his 98th year, Ernest V. Kimmis, beloved husband of the late Muriel Johnson. Dear father and grandfather of Carol and her family, Kimberly Rennie (Robert Cameron) and Allyson Rennie (Denis Brunette); and Shirley and her children, Warren, Margot and Alexis Lyne. Ernest is also survived by four great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and in England. He was pre-deceased by his brother William and sister Anne. Veteran of WWll, Ernest served overseas with the RCAF, and he was also a lifetime member of the Sherbrooke Snowshoe Club. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 6 Belvidere, Lennoxville, QC Tel:564-1750, where friends may visit on Friday, March 18th 2005 from 7 to 9 pm. The family will also receive condolences on Saturday, March 19th, 2005 from 1 to 2 pm at Plymouth-Trinity United Church, Dufferin Street, Sherbrooke, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with the Rev Heather MacDougall officiating. Keet, Stanley

Suddenly at his home Friday, February 25th, 2005, at the age of 77. Cherished husband of Juliette Goudreault. Loving father of Michael (Judy), Christine (Richard), Sidney (Ruth), Russell (Wendy), Arlene (Curtis), Maureen (Serge), and Priscilla (Dale). Stanley will also be very sadly missed by his 25 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, brothers Fred (Connie), Dale (the late Doris), sister-in-law Del, as well as his sisters and brother-in-law: Cecile, Thérèse, Jeanne and Gerard Goudreault, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Forest (the late Irene), Alton, sister Laura (the late Leonard Young), and Leonard (the late Catherine). There will be visitation with cremated remains at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough, Ayer's Cliff, Que., (819-876-5213) e-mail https://www.saloncass.ca., Tuesday, March 1, 2005, from 1:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 where family and friends may come to visit. Also Wednesday, March 2, from 9:30 a.m. until departure for the church at 10:30 a.m. The funeral service will be held in St. Ephrem Church, Fitch Bay, Que., at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alfred Thibault officiating. Spring interment in St. Ephrem Cemetery. Holland, Peter

Peter Holland, loving husband of Anne (Lord) and father of Michael and Tara, passed away in Sherbrooke on August 19, 2016, after a short battle with cancer. He went very peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Peter had an unfailingly positive outlook on life, and said only of this devastating diagnosis, “I have had a great 78 years”. Kindness and generosity were his defining qualities; he loved nothing more than helping others. He was a people person and very involved and well respected in the Lennoxville community. Most of all he was a family man, content to enjoy simple pleasures with his family and close friends. He will be dearly missed.

A private service was held on August 27 at Malvern cemetery.

The family is very grateful to the wonderful staff in the Hôtel-Dieu palliative care ward, where Peter lived out his last 7 weeks and was, in his words, “treated like a king”. Donations to this ward in Peter’s name would be welcomed.

Kezar Browning, Imogene

Peacefully, on February 23rd at the Connaught Home in North Hatley, in her 75th year, beloved wife of Wallace Browning of North Hatley. Dear mother of Geoffrey (Debra) of Ottawa, Ontario; Betty Jean (Laris) of Montreal, Quebec, and Clayton (Karen) of Georgetown, Ontario and grandmother of Donald Browning, Margaux and Bobby Conyers, Devan Benkis and Sarah, Steven and Shelly Roberts. Dear sister of Elizabeth (Mrs. David McCrea) of North Hatley and Betty (Mrs. Howard Mouland) of Beaconsfield. Predeceased by her sister Adeline (Mrs. Larry Allen) of Greenfield Park and by her parents Simon and Genevieve Kezar of North Hatley. Visitation from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday February 25th at the Cass Funeral Home, 6 Belvidere Street, Lennoxville. Funeral service at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, February 26th, at St. Barnabas (Anglican) Church in North Hatley. Interment in the spring at the Reedsville Cemetery, North Hatley. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Barnabas Church, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Many thanks from the family to the Connaught Home and to the Hotel Dieu Hospital for their excellent care of Imogene in her final days.

York, Linda

Linda Marie York Vallée Peacefully at the CHUS, on September 30, 2012 in her 67th year. Dear daughter of the late Edwin York and the late Cliasta Shaw. Beloved wife of the late Marcel Vallée and dear mother of Mary Louise (late Normand Jaques), Annette, Mark (Isabelle Vallée), Jean (Brandy Smyth) and Mario. Cherished grandmother of Danny, Bobby, Melyssa, Tylor, Toni-Anne, Nik, Devin, Darren, Marie-Frederique, Benjamin, Elijah and Jaya and great grandmother of Mary-Lee, Andrea and Jared. Linda also leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters, and step-mother Ada, along with her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many other family and friends. Resting at the St.Paul's Catholic Church, Scotstown, on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 12 to 2 pm followed by the funeral mass at 2 pm. Interment in the Bown Cemetery Canterbury. The family would like to thank the CLSC nurses for all the wonderfull care provided.

Young Laroche, Beverly

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont, on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Laroche and daughter of the late Vincent Young and Marion Sherman.

Dear mother of Garfield (Audrey), Rodney, Gertrude (Doug) and the late Curtis (Pauline). She leaves to mourn her brother Alfred Young (Lois), her sister-in-law Edna Browne, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station St. Sawyerville, QC, on Wednesday July 27th, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, July 28th from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Interment in the Eaton Cemetery.

Yetter, Gayle
1963 - 2016

Passed away at the CSSS Memphrémagog, on September 25, 2016 at the age of 53, loving wife to John (Jack) Edmond from Stanstead. She is predeceased by her parents Patricia Eryou and James Yetter.

Visitation will be held at the Cass funeral home, 545, Dufferin, Stanstead, QC, on Sunday October 2, 2016 from 9:00 to 11 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at the funeral home with Revered Lise Kuzminska officiating.

Gayle leaves to mourn her daughters Kiersten and Kylie, her grandson Darius J.D. Edmond and all of her fur babies. She will sadly be missed by her sister Laurie (Guy Beauregard) and their daughters Tammy-Lee and Michelle as well as her half sister Edie.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to family, friends, neighbors and all those who have given support and help during this very difficult time.
