Joseph (Joe) PRAH 1950-2014 Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Montreal General Hospital, on April 11, 2014 following a life long battle with CVID an immune deficiency. Born in Uniontown, PA. He graduated from McGill University, worked and raised his family in Lennoxville, QC. Loving husband of Dianne Hunt, much loved father of Michael and Eric. Brother to Mary Ann (PA). Survived by many relatives in the U.S.A. Also deeply missed by his mother-in-law Charlotte (late Bruce Hunt), brother-in-law Barry Hunt and family, sister-in-law Brenda Watts (Dave) and the late brother-in-law Jim. Visitation will be at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 2 pm at the St-Mark's Chapel at Bishop's University. Rev. Heather Thomson officiating. Passed away peacefully at the Asbestos Hospital on Tuesday March 25th, 2014, with her loving family by her side, Iris Patrick at the age of 83. Loving mother of the late Sandra (Irvin Danforth), Donna (late Jean-Noel Pinard), Patricia (David McBurney), the late Marlene, Richard, Michael (Frances Cosgrove), and John Semple. Dear Nanny of the late Shannon Danforth, Kandy Pinard, Nathalie Ouellet (Jeffrey Tanguay), Darlene Perreault, Christopher Semple (Jaime Borduzak), Tiffany Semple (Grant Marquardt), and James Semple III. Iris also leaves to mourn, her great grandchildren Gabrielle, Abigayle, Madisyn, Carson, Keenan, Hudsyn, and Acelynn, along with her sisters, Dorothy (late Clifford Gunter) and Gail (late Robert Robertson), many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Iris was predeceased by the father of her children, James Ellery Semple, as well as her brothers Leslie (late Mary Pariseau) and Lynn (Carol). Visitation will be held at the Danville Legion, 136 Grove St., Danville, on Wednesday April 2nd from 2 to 4:30 PM, followed by a memorial service with Rev. Wanda Dillabough officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Denison’s Mills, at a later date. Donations to the Diabetes Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Cass Funeral Homes.
Garnsey, Stephen
On July 18th, 2010 Stephen Garnsey passed away suddenly in Calabogie, Ontario, doing what he loved best - Enduro riding. He is survived by his spouse Shirley Tenasco, and is predeceased by his father Leonard Garnsey and his mother Cornelia Emery of Sherbrooke, Quebec. His extended family from the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation; relatives from across Canada and a multitude of friends who cared for him very dearly, will greatly miss his sportsmanship, humour and caring nature.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 11:00 am to 11:45am, where he will rest with his parents at the Reedsville Cemetery situated on route 108, Capelton Road, in North Hatley, Quebec. In celebration of Steve's love of Enduro riding, donations may be made to the Bytown Motorcycle Association, c/o Carolin Leuders, RR # 7, Perth, Ontario, K7H 3C9. "May his soul rest in peace"

Passed away peacefully at the Riverview Home, Sutton, Ontarion on Monday, August 16, 2010 in her 88th year. Loving daughter of the late Christine Ann McIver and the late John J. Graham. Katherine was the beloved wife of the late Malcolm "Sonny" Kenneth Harmer and was predeceased by her eldest son John Malcolm Harmer. She leaves to mourn her son Thomas Albert Harmer and granchildren Debra and Kenneth as well as her great-grandson.Katherine will be sadly missed by her loving sister-in-law Thelma Picken. She was the cherished aunt of Linda Kay Ross (Kelly), Barbara Ann Picken, Mary Lou Komineck (Jim), Brenda Lee Picken (Gary Vanderveen), Susan Jane Gubbels (Mario), Robert Picken (Karen) and their families. The funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 256 Queen, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville burrough), where friends may call on Wednesday September 1st, from 1 to 2 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2pm, with the Reverend John Barry Forsyth officiating. Interment will take place in Malvern Cemetery beside her husband and son. Our son, brother, father and friend tragically left us on April 8, 2010. He leaves to mourn his three children, Ashley, William and Maggie-Rose and the mother of his children France Rousseau. His loving companion Régine Coté. David was the son of Gordon Garfat and Donna Embury. Predeceased by his grandparents Bill and Dainy Embury and John and Freda Garfat. Brother to Jennifer (Michel Duquette), Donald (Mary Wright) and Tim (Teresa Jacklin). Dave leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke, (Lennoxville) 819-564-1750 where friends may call on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 9 to 11 am at the St. George's Anglican Church, 84 Queen St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) followed by the funeral service at 11 am. Passed away peacefully at CSSS-Memphrémagog on April 3, 2010 at the age of 97. Dear mother of Barbara Hospes (Guntram), grandmother of Scott Hospes (Joanne), great-grandmother of Katrina and Courtney Hospes and dear sister of Evelyn Hevey (late Ernest) and Pauline Waite (Norman). She was predeceased by sisters and brothers: Henry (Sonny, aged 3), Alice O'Connor (late James), Ruby Batchelor (late James), Violet Boisvert, Darold (Marcelle) and John (Jacqueline). Nellie will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Honoring her wishes there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held on April 12, 2010 at 2pm at Christ Church, Stanstead with Rev. Robert Castle officiating. Coffee will be served in the Parish Hall after the service.
