Andrews Cleveland, Aleta

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Wales Home in Richmond on August 14, 2011, Aleta Cleveland age 91. Loving wife of the late Ivan Willey, member of the Royal Rifles, passed away in Hong Kong 1942 and the late Gerald Cleveland of Danville, QC. Dear mother of Harold Willey (Rachel), Joann, Wendy (Brian Lodge), Susan (Carolyn Jewett), Clair (Cindy), Lydia (Hector), Lucy Cleveland (Brian Mastine). Loving grandmother of eight, great grandmother of eleven. Aleta also leaves to mourn many other relatives and friends. Visitation at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, 73 Du Carmel St., Danville on Sunday August 21st, 2011 from 7 to 8:30 pm and on the day of funeral Monday August 22nd, 2011 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2pm. Rev. Wanda Dillabough officiating. Interment of ashes in the Danville Protestant Cemetery.

Gagnon Godbout, Emère

Passed away suddenly at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Tuesday, , February 16, 2010, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Irénée and cherished mother of : Gilles (Annette Isabelle), France (Roger Isabelle), Ghislaine (Nelson Bernier), Daniel (Caroline Meunier); dear grandmother of: Lyne, Luc (Pamela) François (Mélanie), Mathieu (Julie), Sébastien (Cathy), Marilyne (Jean-Nicolas), Sylvain (Karine), Simon (Vanessa), Fréderique, and Emmanuelle. Émère will also be sadly missed by her 13 great-grandchildren along with her brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, and many other relatives. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home. 545 Dufferin, Stanstead 819-876-5213 on Wednesday February 24, 2010 where friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9;00 p.m. and on Thursday, February 25 from 9;00 a.m. until departure for Ste.-Thérèse de l’enfant Jésus Church in Beebe at 10:10 a, m., where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m.. Seymour Parr, Ellen

Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond, QC on Friday October 22nd, 2010 at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late William Parr, and dear sister of the late Frances Smith (late Gilbert). Ellen leaves to mourn her nieces Sandra (Percy) and Wendy Smith along with many dear friends. A graveside service will be held at the Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke, on Saturday October 30th, 2010 at 11 AM with the Rev. Robin Osborne officiating. Donations to the Wales Home Foundation, 506 Rte 243N, Richmond, QC J0B 2H0 would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Cass Funeral Home, Sherbrooke.

Truax Johnston, Sandra

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Hotel Dieu, Sherbrooke, on Saturday January 24th 2015, Mrs Sandra Truax Johnston in her 73rd year. Wife of the late Donald Johnston, and loving mother of Michael and David. Sandra also leaves to mourn, her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her extended family and many friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, where friends may visit on Saturday January 31st from 1 to 3 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday January 31st at 3 PM with Rev. Lynn Dillabough officiating. Interment in St-Andrews Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the diabetic association (Diabète Estrie, 600 Woodward Street, Sherbrooke, QC, J1G 1W3) would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Turcotte Jardine, Madeleine

Madeleine JARDINE (nee Turcotte) Madeleine (Turcotte) Jardine, 86, of Sherbrooke, Quebec died peacefully on December 3rd, 2014 at the CHU Fleurimont Hospital. Born June 24th, 1928 in Sherbrooke, she is predeceased by her parents Lucien and Eileen (Hawkins) Turcotte of Sherbrooke. Her late husband of 58 years, Colin Jardine, daughter Mary, son David and grandson Isiah. Survived by daughters Susan (Art Depee) and Stephanie (John Keough). Sons Robin (Rose), Shawn (Sandra) and Colin Jr. (Shannon). Granddaughters Vanessa, Hannah, Jordan and Holly. Grandsons Connor, Eric and Matthew. She raised her family in Labrador and enjoyed the later years with her husband in the Eastern Townships. Her passions included baking for her family especially at Christmas, gardening, her pet Schnauzers, tending to her birdfeeders and enjoying the wildlife around her home. Throughout her life her laughter was contagious to those around her. She had a special place in her heart for her niece, Helene Turcotte, who helped her in her final days. A funeral service will be held January 10th, 4:00 pm at St Patricks Church, Sherbrooke

1927- 2014

Erwin Taylor: Passed away peacefully at the CSSS Memphremagog on July 5, 2014. Dear husband of Rheta and father of Anne. He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and cousins. The committal will be at a later date.

Tyson Williams, Margaret

Margaret (Tyson) Williams, 83 yrs of age, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2014, survived by her husband James (Jim) Williams; her children Joanne (William Close), Donna (Robert Lowry), Sandra a.k.a. Sandie (Lawrence Cox), John, Charles a.k.a Chuck (Jacinthe Ploudre); 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, sister Ethel May Mitchell and brothers Tom and Jack Tyson. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends. Visitation at Waterville United Church Tuesday, June 10, at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mead Baldwin officiating. Interment at Reedsville Cemetery, North Hatley. In lieu of flowers, donations to Waterville/North Hatley United Church or the Cdn Cancer Society will be appreciated in her memory.

Cherished husband of Françoise Guillemette and adoring father of: Eric Garneau, (Andréanne Courtemanche), Pascal Garneau (Joanna Dés Près) and Nathalie Garneau (Kevin Spooner); Precious grandfather of : Josh, Matt, Shawn, Keira and the late Nathan; Martial will also be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law and sisters in-law: Germaine (Fernand), Clément (Denise), Herman (Réjeanne), Roger (Lucie), Diane, Jean-Marc (Johanne), Angêle (Bruno), François (Nicole) and Mario (Nancy); brother in law of the late Benoit and the late Robert (Denise). He also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin Stanstead, on Friday, April 4, 2014 where friends and family may come to visit from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., also on Saturday, April 5, from 9:00 am until departure at the Sacred Heart Church Stanstead at 10:45 where the funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am. As a tribute to his memory, donations made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 2300 Boul., Rene-Levesque Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3H 9Z9, would be greatly appreciated by the family

Raymond-Robert TAYLOR

Accidentally on August 14, 2013 in his 70th year, he leaves to mourn his mother Elizabeth Bowie, his sons Roderick (Kim) and Ernest (Linda). He will be joining his son Raymond Robert "Bobby" Taylor. He also leaves to mourn his granddaughters Taylor Becker and Kristy Cummings-Taylor, sister Wilda Vinette (Claude), nephews Danny and Jean Claude, his earthly guardian angel Dorene Fearon Hodge, and many brothers and sisters across Canada and the U.S.A. A memorial service will be held at the Bulwer Community Center on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2pm.

Foulkes (DeLuca), Marianna Edith

Passed away peacefully at the CSSS Memphrémagog on August 18, 2016 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Capt. Peter Foulkes. Daughter of the late Harry and Edith (McAvinue) DeLuca.

Loving mother of Bryan Carruthers (Joanne) and David Carruthers (Sally). Cherished grandmother (Anna) of Derrick, Lyanne and Tyler. She leaves to mourn her brother Greg DeLuca (Judy) and sister-in-law Sandra (the late Ronald Morin), along with several nieces and nephews.

A sincere and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Anne Surprenant, Susie Adam, RN, the devoted staff of the CSSS Memphrémagog (Palliative Care Unit), Amy, Bonnie and Francine.

A private family graveside memorial will be held at Marlington Cemetery, Ogden, QC.

(1925-2016)

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu on July 28, 2016, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Clovis Côté and daughter of the late Judson and Eliza Farwell.

She leaves to mourn her 4 children: Richard (Carole Huppé), David (Chantal Bernier), Robert and Louise; her 8 grandchildren: Simon, Hélène, Caroline, Eric, David, Sabrina, Roxanne and Michael; her 6 great-grandchildren: Olivier, Mathieu, Nellie, Adam, Lorianne and William; her sisters Norma and Jean(late Louis Monty); her brother Donnie (Olene); and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm, and on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 10 am to 11 am, followed by the funeral service at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Cemetery, Johnville, QC.

The family would like to give special thanks to the personnel at the St-Francis Manor for their dedication, the staff at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu, and also to Dr. Zoltan Ferenczi and Dr. John Robb.

White Marshall, Pearl

Passed away at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Sherbrooke, on Friday August 15th 2008, Mrs Pearl Marshall in her 91st year. Wife of the late Clifford Marshall, and mother of Phyllis (Stan), Bob (Theresa), Greta (Ken), Ruth (Rene), Lloyd, Jean (Bob), Ethel (Brian), Thelma (Desmond) and Len (Deb). Pearl also leaves to mourn, her 19 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren along with her nieces, nephews and friends, and is predeceased by her brother Norman and her sister Annie. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) (819)564-1750 where friends may visit on Wednesday August 20th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held in St-George’s Anglican Church on Thursday August 21st at 2:00PM with the Rev. Michael Canning officiating. Interment will take place in the Malvern Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special "Thanks" to Georgina Warburton for all the loving care, and request that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2630 rue King Ouest, bureau 150, Sherbrooke, QC J1J 2H1 in Pearl’s memory.
