In hospital at Napanee, ON on Wednesday March 19, 2008 at the age of 86, Velma June Nicholson. Beloved wife of the late Henry Nicholson. Loving mother of Alan (Kim) and cherished grandmother of Kerri-Lee (George), Kenneth, (Tess) and Jill. Velma will be sadly missed by many friends in Napanee and in the Eastern Townships. At the Foyer St-Joseph, Sherbrooke, QC, on Thursday, May 24th 2007 at the age of 87. Chester Hewton Nugent, dearly beloved husband of Rita Porter and precious father of Judy (Don Thornloe), Bonnie (Stephen Lepitre), Robert (Kathie Crowe), Sherry (Carl Turcotte) and Mark (Allison Bennett). Dear brother of Marjorie Moore, Marion (Don MacDonald) and was predeceased by Gwen (the late Charles Robinson). Chester was the cherished grandfather of Tammy Drew (Corey Brooker), Dawn Drew (Dominic Dulude), Michelle and Danny Lepitre and 3 great-grandchildren: Jessica Brooker, Caden and Liam Dulude, and he will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Kaj Nielsen, beloved father of Tim (Johanne Benoit) and Sherry (Wayne Kennedy) and cherished grandfather of Anne, Travis, Brandy, Amber, Christan and Miya. Kaj is survived by his sister Sonja and was predeceased by his brother Orla (Vera) and is also survived by his nephew and nieces, Gary, Brenda and Penny. With dignity and great courage at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, Sherbrooke, QC on Saturday, April 14th 2007 in her 83rd year. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Carol), Robert (Anne) and Brian. Cherished grandmother of Craig, Steven, Jennifer, Andrea, Marie and five great-grandchildren. Left to mourn are her brother Harold (Shirley) and sister Frances. Also survived by sister-in-law Ferne Nutbrown and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
