Peacefully at her home, Sherbrooke, Que., on Sunday August 30, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Helen Audrey Sorensen beloved wife of Bruce Barber for 39 years. Helen was the dear mother of Christopher. She is survived by her brother John. She was predeceased by he sisters Agnes and Doreen and her brothers Harold and Kenneth. In respect of her wishes cremation was entrusted to Cass Funeral Home, 3006 Cololege St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), Quebec J1M 1T9 (819)564-1750 A graveside service will be held at the Malvern Cemetery on Wednesday September 2, 2009 at 1 pm. Stevens Gilchrist, Dorothy

Peacefully at the Wales Home, Richmond, Que., on Monday July 27, 2009, Dorothy Gilchrist, in her 86th year, beloved wife of the late Herbert Gilchrist and devoted mother of Harold (Dianne), John (Lee-Ann), Judy (Albert), Joan, Heather, Robert (the late Nancy) and Richard (Carolyn), Dorothy was the dear grandmother of Linda (Brent), Patrick (Kathryn), Rhys, Douglas (Laurie Ann), Christopher (Kelly), Victoria, (Danny), Shawn, Jennifer, Mitchell, Johnathan and Rebecca. She was the great-grandmother of Jeffrey, Melissa, Gregory, Tyler, Matthew and Derek. She is survived by her brother Sydney (Pat) and her guardian ange, l her sister- in-law, Marjorie Barlow. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), QC (819)-564-1750 where friends may call onThursday July 30, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday July 31, 2009 from 1 to 2 pm in the Trenholm United Church, Rte 243, Trenholm QC followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Sullivan Côté, Barbara

Passed away peacefully at the Magog Hospital on Friday June 26th, 2009 at the age of 57. Loving wife of Dewain Côté, and dear mother of Stephanie and James (Morgan). Barbara also leaves to mourn, her grandchildren Ashley, Sarah, Rebecca, Hailey-Lyn, Alexis and Ericka Côté, and her brother Glenis (Marjory) along with many nieces, nephews, relateives and friends. Surrounded by her family, at the Domaine de la Sapinière in East Angus on May 8, 2009 at the age of 84 years and 11 months. Beloved wife of Léopold Veilleux of Sawyerville, QC. She leaves to mourn her children, Luc (Rita Vachon), Richard (Lyne Beaudoin), Lorraine, Julien (Carole Boissé), Maryse (Réjean Labranche), Benoit (Johanne Corbeil), Jean-Pierre and Nathalie (Stanley Taylor). She was the grandmother of 24 grandchildren and the great-grandmother of 31 great grandchildren. Estelle also leaves to mourn her sisters and brothers Marie-Berthe (late Lionel Hallé), Jeanne (Edouard Duhaime), Victorienne (feu Alfred Campagna), Aline (Léo Boislard), Réal (Fernande Boislard), Ghislaine (Henri Boislard), Jean-Marc, Antonine (Gérard Roy) et Marie-Louis (Colette Lamadeleine). Predeceasded by the late Thérèse (late Cyrinus Bellavance), the late Lèo (late Jeannette Lachance) and the late Madeleine (late Lèo Labrecque). She also leaves to mourn her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, late Gérard, Giséle (Fernand Dussault), late Raymond (Hermance Gaulin), late Madeleine, along with her nephews, nieces and many friends. Resting at the Sawyerville St-Rosaire Catholic Church 4 Randboro Rd. Sawyerville, QC where friends may call on Friday May 15, 2009 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 10 PM and on Saturday May 16, 2009 from 9 to 10:45 AM followed by the funeral service at 11AM in the St-Rosarie Catholic Church. Saurette (nee Karst), Peggy Lynn

A graveside service for the late Peggy Saurette will take place at St-Anne’s Cemetery, Richmond, on Saturday May 23rd at 1:00 p.m. Peggy passed away on December 12th, 2008 in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. She was the cherished mother of Pamela (James McCracken), Lowell (deceased), Gilles Guy (Caitlin Wells) and Emile ‘Miller’, and devoted grandmother to Caitlan and Chelsea Taylor. She also leaves her great-grandson Zakkiah Jackson, born in January, as well as the father of her children, Guy Saurette.

King Beattie, Elsie

Passed away after a long and full life on Friday, April 10 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Curtis Beattie, dear mother of Douglas (Gladys) and Susan (Fred), cherished grandmother of Nancy (Greg), Heather (Ghyslain), Douglas and Catherine, adored great-grandmother of Alex, Patrick, Sarah, William, Everett and Ada and dear friend to many. Bor n in Alber t Mines, she enjoyed her long life within a close community in the rolling hills of the Eastern Townships. Resting at Cass Funeral Parlour in Lennoxville (3006 College St., Shebrooke), visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, April 16 from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Richard Strout officiating. Interment will be at the Reedsville Cemeter y in North Hatley at a later date. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Grace Christian Home for their kind and loving care of Elsie in her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the The Dr. W. J. Suddenly at the CHUS - Flerimont Sherbrooke QC on Friday March 20, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Joseph Jean-Rock St. Laurent beloved husband of Winnifred Ward and dear father of Carol (John Bilodeau), Lyndon, Mark (Shamla), Gail (Alfred Tarnasky), Lisa (Roger Lowry) and Rocky. Rock was the cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers Gilles (late Hugette), Gerald (Rita) and by his sister Marie-Claire (Pierre Veilleux) and was predeceased by his brothers Guy (late Clarise) and Norman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Resting at the Bury Cultural Centre, 568 Main St. Bury, QC where friends may call on Wenesday March 25, 2009 from 1 to 3:30 PM followed by a time of reflection and memories at 3:30 PM. Wilson Pinkham, Arlene

Passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the age of 85. Arlene Wilson was the wife of the late John F. Young " Freddy " and the late George Pinkham and dear mother of Gail (Andrew Smith) and Ronald (Debbie Smith). Arlene was the loving nanny and little nan to 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Arlene is survived by her brother Glen (Doris Whitiker) and was predeceased by her brother Wilmer (Iris). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and her friends. In respect of Arlene's wishes, cremation was held at the Cass Crematorium and a graveside service will be held at the Huntingville Cemtery on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 2 pm. Arlene's family would like to thank the doctors and staff of 5 A CHUS Hôtel-Dieu for their care of Arlene. As memorial tributes, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Whitcomb, Stanley

Peacefully at the Magog Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the age of 94. Stanley James Whitcomb was the beloved husband of the late Olive Bryan and loving father of Sandra (late John Kimpton), Catherine (late Michel Lefebvre), Nancy, Amy and the late Edward James and was also the cherished grandfather of John K. Kimpton (Sylvie Tremblay), Cindy Whitcomb (Steven Laroche), Raymond Lefebvre and Jamie Whitcomb and the great grandfather of John Alex, Julia, Justin and Samantha. Stanley is survived by his brother Robert (Olive), and his many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough St. Ayer's Cliff, QC on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, January 27th from 1 to 1:45. A funeral service will held in the St. James Anglican Church at 2 pm with the Rev. Barbara Wintle officiating. Interment in the St. James Cemetery, Hatley, QC. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 3rd, 2013, Mrs Rhoda Moinard (nee Warner) at the age 83. Loving wife of the late Joseph Moinard, and dear mother of the late Bob, Joe-Ann, Rhoda (Butch Worden), Doreen (Robert Belanger), and James (Kathryn Toner). Loving Granny of Ron, Joey, and Terry Belanger, Christine and Colleen Worden, Michel, André, Jamie and Tristan Belanger, and Christopher, and Amber Moinard. Rhoda also leaves to mourn her 19 great-grandchildren along with her nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. A private graveside service was held at Ste-Bibiane Cemetery, Richmond. Jason WILSON Passed away on April 17, 2013 at the age of 37. Beloved son of Wilma Wilson (Rick) and Alvin Chase (Tammy) and dear father of Amelia, Hailey and Savannah and brother Eric C. Wilson (Marie-Chantale and Lucas) and half brothers and sisters, Jerry Chase, Joanne, Angel, Bianka, Courtney, Katy, Kurine and Britney.
