Burnell, Dulsie May (nee Hawse) It is with great sadness that the family of Dulsie May Burnell announce her passing on Sunday, February 6th 2005 at the Argyll Pavillon, Sherbrooke, QC. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Norman. Cherished mother of Carl and Gloria. Dulsie will also be missed by her sisters Thelma Burnham and Margaret Hawse, her grandchildren: Kerrie and David;great-grandchild Alexandra and nephews and nieces. A funeral service will be held at the Cass Funeral Home, Lennoxville, QC. On Saturday, May 21st at 2 pm. Rev. Barbara Willard officiating. Please note there will be 1 hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment in the Reedsville cemetery, North Hatley. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sherbrooke Geriatric Institute, Argyll Pavillon would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Slee, Myrtle Lucy (nee Hughes)
Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 21st 2012 at the Wales Home, Richmond QC, in her 86th year. Retired employee of ASEA (now ABB) Canada. Beloved wife of the late Harold Slee. Loving daughter of the late Harold and the late Mabel Hughes. Dear sister to the late Dorothy (Ernest Lockwood), Patricia (the late Lloyd Millar), the late Elmer (Jean Hughes), Lorna (Lyman Laxson), the late Howard, Marina (the late Douglas Priestley) and Donald Hughes. Myrtle also leaves to mourn, her many nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place, and will be followed by a private commital service to be held at the South Durham United Church cemetery at a later date. Rest in peace.
Johnston, Jessie Iona
(1943-2017)
Passed away at the CHUS-Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, on March 4, 2017 at the age of 73. Daughter of the late Sydney Johnston and the late Myrtle Fee.
Jessie leaves to mourn her children: Leanne, Stacey and Krenda (Marc); her grandchildren Opal (J.F.), April (Shawn), Jennifer (Philippe), Katrina (Jonathan), Jonathan, Dylan (Shanny) and Maxime; and her great-grandchildren Emeric and Nathan. She also leaves her sister Hazel; her brother Kenneth (Dorothy); and the father of her children, Sherman Lancaster; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her sister Linda.
Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S. Richmond, QC, where friends may visit, on Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Monday, March 13, 2017, from 10 am to 11 am. A religious service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 am, with Ellis Clark officiating.
The family would like to thank the Wales Home and the 9th floor ICU at the CHUS Fleurimont for the wonderful care they provided.

Shattuck, Dorothy Anna
The Parsons and Shattuck families are sad to announce the passing of Dorothy Anna Shattuck on May 3rd, 2012 at the age of 96 years. A resident at The Connaught Home in North Hatley for fifteen months. Dorothy lived in her own apartment in Lennoxville for many years and was the Parsons family historian and North American researcher and resource. The daughter of Ethel Parsons Shattuck and Lawrence Shattuck, born in Fitchburg, Mass. Dorothy was raised by her maternal grandparents in East Angus, Quebec where she lived most of her life and where she was a valued, retired employee of the East Angus paper mills. She leaves behind her Shattuck nieces and nephew, Nancy Shattuck Trainque, Lawrence III Shattuck, Marilyn Shattuck Fuse, Maureen Shattuck Berder, Mary Shattuck, Michael Shattuck, Kathleen Shattuck Dionne, their spouses and children throughout the North Eastern United States, the Parsons first cousins, Elizabeth Parsons Shepard, Calgary, Alberta and William Parsons of Coral Gables, Florida and many extended cousins and their spouses and children throughout North America. The internment of Dorothy's ashes will be held at the Parsons family plot in Cookshire Cemetary on June 15th at 3:00pm where family and friends are welcome to attend the service and share memories of our well-loved aunt and cousin.

Hilda was the daughter of the late Marshall Rand and the late Edith Morrison and the beloved wife of the late Ernest Berwick and the late Douglas Grapes. Dear mother of Barry (Nancy), Norman (Kathy), Brenda (Dale), Bonnie (John) and Steven (Sandi). Cherished Nanny of 14 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by two grandsons Dexter Berwick and Derek Coote, her sister Laura and her two brothers Lyle (Fay) and Clinton (Doreen). With heavy hearts we sadly announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Marjorie Rick, in her 89th year, surrounded with the love of her family at her side, on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Marjorie was a life long resident of Lennoxville and a member of Saint Mark's Chapel at Bishop's University. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Rick. Marjorie leaves her memories, friends, loving sons Robert Rick (Kathleen) of Ajax, Ontario and Dean Rick (Shannon) of Daphne, Alabama, 6 grandchildren, Jason (Barbara), Corey, Julia, Jennifer, Vanessa and Graham. Her ashes will be interned with her husband in Malvern Cemetery, Lennoxville. At a later date, Reverend Heather Thompson will officiate the family memorial service. Clara was the cherished grandma of Douglas and adoring great-grandma of Phillip and Jacob. Clara was predeceased by her brother Cecil Ross and her sister Eileen Ross. Ramage Kay, Agnes
Passed away at the Magog Hospital on February 3, 2010 in her 96th year, following a brief illness. Ruby was born on February 12, 1914 in Methilhill, Scotland, the daughter of the late Daniel Ramage and Jeannie Dunsire. She was the dear sister of the late Jean Ramage (John Lessard) and half sister to Mathew Ramage (Elsie) of Lennoxville. On May 18, 1932 she married George Hornby (deceased) and was then remarried to John (Jack) Kay (deceased) on September 19, 1973. Ruby spent her early years in Scotland and came to Canada in 1930 at the age of 16. After a brief time in Montreal she moved to Chesterville, Ontario, where she met her first husband, George. The couple lived in Morrisburg, Ontario for a number of years and then moved to Georgeville, Quebec, when George was serving overseas in WWII. Before moving to The Whitehouse in Stanstead, Ruby was an active member of the Georgeville community, participating in many church and community activities. She is survived by her three sons, Richard (Georgina), Daniel (Margaret) and George (Marj). Ruby also leaves to mourn many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dear friends. A celebration of her life will be held at the St-George's Anglican Church, Georgeville, to be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank all the staff, past and present, of The Whitehouse in Stanstead, for the wonderful care and support she received there. Ruby loved her home and second family at The Whitehouse. Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond on Friday January 22nd, 2010, Mrs. Eileen Roberts at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Fred Roberts, and dear mother of Brian (Sandra), Heather (Ross Roach) and Bruce (Chris). Dear grandmother of Barry (Karine), Vicki, Michael (Debra), Randy, Dan (Angie), Clint (Ann-Marie) and Kurt, and great grandmother of Brittany, Morgan, Michaela, Damian, Emily and Faith. Eileen also leaves to mourn, her sister Doreen Montgomery (late Merton) and sister-in-law Betty Ingrey (late Eric) along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Hughes, Lorna (née Riff) Suddenly on January 5, 2010 at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Mildred and Frank Riff. She leaves to mourn her sisters Marion Patrick (Richmond) and Evelyn Janes (Thornhill) and she was predeceased by her brother Donald. She will be missed by her nine nieces and nephews.
