BRATT - ADELE, 1908 - December 12, 2001. Predeceased by husband Lyle, parents Hattie and Homer Ashford; sisters Roberta, Lavon, Ardyce, Annalou and Leone. She is survived by daughter Lyla; sons Garry (Sharon) and Alan (Darcy); grandchildren Lisa (Bill), Lindsay, David (Kerri), Leslie, Eric, Emily and Ian; great-grandchildren Cynara, Logan and Hayden and brothers Bennet (Neva) and Cecil (Patty). Born in Missouri she came to the Gray district where she grew up and where she married Lyle Bratt. She farmed with Lyle and later her sons and grandson David until quite recently. She was an avid reader, a long time member of Toastmistress International, a devoted supporter of Lakeview United Church and of the Gray Homemakers Club. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Regina and district branch of the Canadian Diabetes Association, 4420 Albert Street, Regina, SK, S4S 6B4. FRIESEN - Arnold John. It is withgreat sadness that the family announces the passing of Arnold onThursday, December 13, 2001, at the age of 70 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Arnold is survived by his loving wife, Helen, of 47 years; son Robert (Marie) Friesen of Westbank, B.C., daughters Audrey (John) Warford and Linda (Cory) Halverson, both of Regina and grand-daughters Sarah and Ashley Friesen of Westbank, B.C. Arnold will also be missed by his brother Harold (Doreen) Friesen of Hepburn, SK; sister Dorothy (Leo) Amendt of Debolt, AB; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kathleen and Elvin Nikiforuk of Richmond, B.C. His memory will long be in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends. The family will be together for a private ceremony in Arnold's honor and respectfully decline the gifts of flowers. ANTON - EILEEN MARION ANTON (BEITEL) died peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon with her family at her side. Eileen and her husband, Nick raised eight children in Regina. They later moved to Saskatoon before retiring and settling in Moose Jaw. Predeceased by her father, Wenzel and brother-in-law, Earl Paysen. She is survived by her mother, Sophia Beitel of Moose Jaw; husband, Nicholous James Anton of Moose Jaw; children: Allan Anton of Calgary; Elaine Anton of Calgary: Neil Anton of Moose Jaw; Donna-Marie (Glenn) Harned and their children: Kaylee and David of Prince George; Garth Anton of Seattle, Washington; Carole Ann (Rob) Mallory and their son, Brandon of Regina; John Anton of Vancouver and Paul Anton of Moose Jaw; her sisters: Joyce Paysen of Moose Jaw, Kay McLean of Calgary and Myrna (Wayne) Kendall of Stoughton, Saskatchewan as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
