ALEXSON - Eva left us to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2001 at the age of 75 years, she resided on Kahkewistahaw First Nation. Predeceased by her parents Angus and Tina Alexson; her brothers Angus, George and Blackie (Fred); grandchildren Heather, Cindy, Monica, Judy, Thomas and Eliott; Eva Alexson is survived by nine daughters Joyce (Robert), Sharon (Alvin), Geri, Marla (Maurice), Myra, Christine (Alex), Johnana (Dennis), Wendy (Ken), Bonnie (Jerry); one son Robin (Ramona); four sisters Verna Bob, Rita Vickberg, Ruby Wahpoosywan, Flora Bear; forty seven grandchildren, sixty eight great grandchildren as well as the father of her children Tom Bear. A wake will be held in the Kahkewistahaw Complex, Kahkewistahaw First Nation on Sunday commencing at 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Kahkewistahaw Complex on Monday, November 12, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.

Ann V. Elliott - died November 9, 2001 at Pioneer Village in Regina. Mrs. Elliott was predeceased by her husband, Judge E. L. Elliott, in 1982, and by Vonda, her daughter, in 1966. Born in Ontario, Mrs. Elliott and her parents arrived in the area before Saskatchewan became a province. The eldest of Norman and Jane MacLean's eight children. Ann was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Donald, Alex, Bruce, and Samuel and by sisters Vonda and Flora. Neil, her surviving brother and close friend, is a long time resident of Regina. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Sylvia (Alex) MacLean of Fife Lake, and Genevieve (Bruce) MacLean of Toronto. Elsie (Sam) MacLean predeceased her. Her son Norman (Angie) of Calgary; four grandchildren: Neil of Ladner, BC, Lee of St. Albert, AB, Rae (Rollie Kuntz) of Regina, and Murray of Calgary and Olds, AB, as well as five great grandchildren Casey and Katherine Elliott, Jonathan Ozirny and Jennifer and Mark Kuntz survive her. Erin Ozirny, her first great grandchild, died of Leukemia in September of 2001. Mrs. Elliott enjoyed regular visists with close friends and relatives. Her granddaughter Rae, grand-niece, Cynthia Shelstad, brother Neil, and friends Lynn Calnek and Jean Poloyko were faithful and constant visitors over many years. The family is grateful to the staff at Pioneer Village. They were always friendly, caring and competent. Many became close personal friends. She particularly appreciated the long-standing annual Christmas dinners with her brother Neil and grandson Murray. The family is deeply indebted to Dr. Coucill for his unfailing kindness and professional excellence. At her request, there will be no funeral service. Close friends and relatives will be invited to a gathering in her memory at a later date.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Richard, her mother and father, Gail and Bill Haanstra, Kipling, two sisters, her twin, Sandra Keller, Brooks, Alta.; Jennifer (Kipp) Bayer, Sturgis, Sask.; and one brother, John Haanstra, Brooks, Alta., her mother-in-law, Shiela Elsom, Moose Jaw, Sask., her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edward Elsom, Lloydminster, Alta.; Ryan Elsom, and Maria Elsom, both of Moose Jaw, Sask., her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Morris and paternal grandmother, Wietzke Haanstra, both of Owen Sound, Ont., her nieces and nephews, Jessica Keller, Julianne Simpson, Jalen Bayer and Sunny Elsom, her godparents, Jeff and Shelley Keyes. FYHN, BRYAN - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Bryan at the age of 50, on November 9, 2001, after a courageous six month battle with cancer.
