BITTERNOSE - Hazel Mabel Bitter nose was born September 6, 1942 and passed away on October 12, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas, son Wesley, parents Sam and Clara Ittittakoose, parents-in-law Harry and Louisa Bitternose, brother-in-law John James Bitternose, sisters-in-law Mary Bitternose and Sybil Geddes. Hazel leaves to mourn her daughters Alice (Charlie). Agnes (Lyle), Mary (Tim); sons Sid (Karen), Harv (Cathy), Ken (Carrie) and Wes; brothers-in-law William (Evelyn) Bitternose and Sam Geddes; sister-in-law Nancy Bitternose; sisters Anne (Pat) Machiskinic, Christina Northwest, Gloria Ittittakoose, Catherine Ittittakoose; brother Max Ittittakoose; step-sister Theresa McNabb; step-brothers Joseph Kingfisher and Robert Kingfisher; grandchildren Marlene (Stacy), Valerie, Lance, Kendra (Clint), Adrian, Noto, Andrew, Samantha, Shayla, Brandon, Terrell, Heavenly, Clarrissa, great-grandchildren Austin, Darnell, special adopted grandchild Jordon Worm, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Wake will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2001 at Gordon First Nation Gymnasium commencing at 4:00 PM. The Funeral Service wil be held on Monday, October 15, 2001 at 1:00 PM at Gordon First Nation Gymnasium with Rev. Ken Buchan and Rev. Dale Gillman, officiating. The Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery, Gordon First Nation, SK. Arrangements are in the care of LEE FUNERAL HOME (306) 757-8645

CROSSLEY - Hazel Velena passed away peacefully on Sunday October 7, 2001 in her 95th year. Her life was devoted to her family and husband Bill now deceased. Hazel was born in Alameda Saskatchewan and for the most part cities and towns of that province were her home where she initially taught school and after marrying Bill they raised their family. In the last eight years she lived in Ontario, closer to the care of family. Hazel will be dearly missed by her son Wayne and his wife Melita, her daughter Wilma and her husband Bob Puttee and her daughter Deane Crossley. Hazel has been the loving grandmother of six grandchildren; Lisa Graves, Leanne Blackwell, Nicole Butkovich, Donald Puttee, Lara Christoff, and Tala Crossley and her nine great grandchildren. Family and friends gather to remember and celebrate her life on Sunday October 14. In Toronto, Funeral arrangements entrusted to Giffen-Mack "Scarborough Chapel" (416)281-6800.

FLETCHER - Arthur James, born December 28, 1910 passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2001 in Vancouver, B.C. He is predeceased by his wife Lillian Irene, sons Patrick and Donovan. Art will lovingly be remembered by his family, Delores (Bob) Fox, Donna (Gordon) McGregor, Dennis (Jane) Fletcher, Dianna (Neil) Burns, Bonnie (Don) Simpson, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Art worked for the C.N.R. for 45 years at various locations including The North Yards, and in Vancouver, B.C. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

HASENFRATZ - Barbara Emily Hasenfratz (nee Arnusch), late of Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home, Regina, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2001, at the age of 91 years. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Tony in 1964; son Tony in 2000; daughter-in-law Agnes in 1998; granddaughter Margaret in 1963; as well as her parents John and Susanna Arnusch; sisters, Madeline and Kay; and brother Frank. Barbara leaves to mourn, her daughter, Betty (Trevor) Harle and son Al (Joan) Hasenfratz; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home Chapel, Regina Avenue at Pasqua Street, on Monday October 15, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. John M. Riffel presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara's memory to Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home "Pastoral Care", 4215 Regina Avenue, Regina, SK, S4S 0J5. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Annie Bruning, her eight brothers and sisters, her husband George in 1976, son Frank in 2001, sons-in-law Gus Lawrick and Melvin Bakken, grandsons Allan Ager and Merle Rasmussen, she is survived by six children: Irene (Delbert) Rasmussen of Duncan, B.C., Marion Bakken of Swift Current, Clair (Myrtle) of Assiniboia, Robert (Rose) of Assiniboia, Lois Lawrick of Rockglen and Devona Ager of Regina, daughter-in-law Joyce Ager of Coronach, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at the Rockglen Community Hall, Rockglen, Sask., on Tuesday, October 16, 2001, at 1:30 P.M. conducted by the Fellowship of Christian Cowboys. BROCK, DICK - Dick Brock (formerly of Regina, Saskatchewan) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 94 years. Dick was born December 14, 1906 in England. Predeceased by his wife Mae on April 22, 1990. Dick is survived by his sons: Donald (Gail) of Bragg Creek, Alberta, Richard (Sandra) of Comox, B.C. and his daughter Lynda (Donald) Graham of Kelowna, B.C., nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A memorial service with Reverend David Zimmerman officiating will be held at the Bragg Creek Seniors Center on Saturday, October 20, 2001 at 4:00 P.M. Everyone is welcome. Interment will be at the Regina Cemetery, Regina, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at 10:00 A.M.

BUKOWSKI, Ted W.,

BUKOWSKI - Ted W. Bukowski, late of Weyburn, passed away suddenly at the Weyburn General Hospital on Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at the age of 76 years. Ted was born at his family farm near Cedoux, January 4, 1925 where he would spend most of his time working on the farmland with his mother and then later buying grain for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. In 1956, Ted and his family moved to Weyburn into their newly built home that he and his wife built with their own hands. He then started working for the Department of Agriculture as a Water Technician until his retirement in 1987. Ted had a great passion for music. He had a talent for hearing a tune and the ability to play it without a note in front of him. He would play the accordion for many dances and parties and enjoyed entertaining friends and family playing the electric organ. Ted's other great love was his family and his friends. He always made sure that they were well taken care of. He loved spending time with his grandchildren when they would come and visit him. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Katherine Bukowski; his two brothers, Joe and Adolph; four sisters: Dorothy and Sephania in infancy, Melvina Gawel and Pauline Knox. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Doreen Bukowski; dearly missed by his son, Doug (Peg) Bukowski of Calgary and his daughter, Sharon (David) Lethbridge of Salmon Arm. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Mark (Corinne) of Vancouver, Aaron (Rechelle) of Salmon Arm, Lisa and Cindi of Calgary; great grandchildren, Naomi and Seth of Salmon Arm; one brother, Julian and two sisters, Lucy and Violet. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. from the Calvary Baptist Community Church, Weyburn, SK with Pastor Wally Frank officiating. All those in attendants are considered to be honorary pallbearers. The active pallbearers are all nephews: Brian Bukowski, Reg Bukowski, David Leck, Allan Finney, Rodney Finney and John Knox. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in Ted's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements are entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Chapels Ltd. (842-5432)
