HUBER - Tegla Minnie (nee: Kramer) of Burnaby, BC. Born July 21, 1921. Passed away February 14, 2003. Much loved and sadly missed by her husband Herman, son Murray (Eileen), daughters Joyce (Norm), Sandra, Doris, Donna (Marty). 7 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

BLONDEAU—George Lloyd "White Buffalo", June 30, 1951 to August 11, 2003. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of George, age 52 years of Calgary, Alberta. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Mary Rolles and sister Velma. George leaves to mourn his wife of 31 years, Edna; daughter Monique (Paul); son George (Jamie); his father Mike, stepfather Lawrence Rolles; brothers Doug, Gordon (Mary), David (Heather), Michael, Eddie (Wanda); sisters Margaret, Cathy (Terry), Beverly (Garnet), Brenda and Emilie (Andre) Jarocki; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. George enjoyed the life he was given and lived in the Creator's light. He was blessed with the gift of fairness and always tried to ensure that people got a fair shake whether in business or with family and friends. George has touched so many hearts that we cannot comprehend; just that there were a great number of friends. Everyone that knew him loved him for the humble man that he was. Greatly loved and missed by all. Prayers will be said on Friday, August 15, 2003 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, with Rev. Janet Sigurdson, officiating. Reception to follow at Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lebret Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined; memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arragements are in the care of LEE FUNERAL HOME 757-8645

Cawood, George,

CAWOOD - It is with great sadness that the family of George Cawood announces his sudden passing on Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his parents Fredrick and Annie. He is survived by Caroline, his wife of 59 years; his children Geraldine (Norval) Stuckey, Redvers; Reg (Claudia) Cawood, North Battleford; Valerie Cawood (Mel Costache), Regina; Rod (Anna) Cawood, Churchbridge; Loris (Ted) Freysteinson, Langdon, AB; and Mary Lou (Dave) O'Bertos, North Battleford; thirteen grandchildren and two great granddaughters. He also leaves to mourn, his brother Jack (Vivian) Cawood; and sisters Audrey (Bob) Pletch; Lillian Renwick; and Marjorie Moxham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. George was born at Fairlight in 1916, and raised on the family homestead. On October 20, 1943 he married Caroline Purdon and together raised their six children. In 1947 he began a business in blacksmithing and welding. In 1967 the family moved to Esterhazy and George continued his business in welding and repair. In 1973 he went to work as a welder at the IMC potash mine until his retirement in 1981. George and Caroline moved to Saskatoon in 1999. Throughout his life George took a keen interest in sports, participating in baseball, hockey and curling. He was a dedicated Blue Jays fan, and in retirement seldom missed a game on T.V. He also spent many hours in his woodworking shop. All who knew him enjoyed his sense of humour and entertaining way of telling a story. Eulogy was given by Ward Kay; Rev. Michael Williams officiated. Interment was held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Moosomin. George will be sadly missed and forever remembered. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Royal University Hospital (103 Hospital Dr., Saskatoon), or a charity of their choice, in George's memory.

Gale, Ambrose,

GALE - Ambrose (Amby) Marvin Gale, 93, peacefully passed away at Regina Lutheran Home on July 13, 2003. Amby was born April 19, 1910 in Balgonie, SK. where, as the youngest of fourteen children (all deceased), he was raised on the farm. He was in the teaching profession for 14 years and then, after 29 years of service with the Saskatchewan Provincial Government, he retired. Many of his students stayed in touch with him through the years and praised his teaching skills. He was a very generous man who will be fondly remembered for his high intellect and vast reservoir of knowledge. He was a mentor to many friends and family members. He greatly enjoyed traveling, especially when visiting his children and grandchildren. He was blessed with beautiful handwriting, a knack for gardening, and the ability to make a mean cabbage roll. He loved roses, playing cards (but not losing), singing (he had a beautiful voice), music (Lawrence Welk in particular), sports, reading, reading, reading and had an avid interest in family history. Amby is survived by his daughter, Beryle, grandchildren, Collin (Arati), Sharla (Sean), Kim (Mike), Justin and great grandchildren, Sharissa, Brayden, Ashton and Rylee, all of Salt Lake City, Utah; his son, Lorne (Jeannie), grandchildren, Lori (Rick), Brad (Patty), Chad (Heather), Cory and great grandchild, Alyssa, all of Denver, Colorado and many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene Pearl Betker in 1993, infant son, Murray and parents, Peter and Karolina Galenzoski. The family would like to thank the staff of Regina Lutheran Home for their gift of compassionate service and loving care to Amby. They would also like to thank Amby's dear friend, Joyce Eurich, for her devotion and selfless service and his nephew, Harold Galenzoski (Mavis) for his dedication and many, many acts of kindness. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave., Regina. The Reverend Darold Sauer, great nephew, will officiate. A reception will be held at Regina Lutheran Home following the Memorial Service. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, a memorial tribute may be made to Regina Lutheran Home, 1925 5th Ave. N., Regina, SK S4R 7W1. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.

GUSE—ALMA, late of Parkside Extendicare and Qu'Appelle House, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at the age of 88 years and 8 months. Alma was the daughter of Fred and Olga Zotzman. Predeceased by her daughter Carolyn Marilee, husband Bill, brothers: Robert (Mabel), Arnold, Richard, Donald (Hazel) and sister Gertrude (Virgil) Neal. She is survived by her son Fred (Celeste) of Iroquois, ON, daughter Ann Moxley of Victoria, B.C., son John of Moose Jaw, SK, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons, 2 brothers Wilfred (Berna) Zotzman and Herbert (Mary) Zotzman, sister Doris (Jesse) Munoz, all of Regina, SK and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Alma's Life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. in Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Ave., Regina, SK with Pastor Bill Lippman, officiating. HALFACREE—Olive Evelyn passed away on August 9th, 2003 at the Oilfields Hospital in Black Diamond, Alberta at the age of 91 years. Olive is survived by her loving husband Colson; sons James McNeil, Ralph McNeil, Lloyd McNeil, Douglas McNeil and Bob McNeil; sisters Martha West, Marjorie Mills, Eva Holt and Aubrey Tilt as well as 25 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Olive was predeceased by her parents Brock and Annabelle Tilt; sister Eda Davis and brother Francis Tilt. Olive grew up in Francis, Saskatchewan were she later farmed along side her father. She then continued her love of farming when she married Colson and farmed together in Lumsden, Saskatchewan. She was a Silver Cross Mother with the Royal Canadian Legion and had all 5 sons serve in the military throughout the world including Australia, Laos, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cypress, Norway, Germany as well as the seven seas. A memorial service was held on August 11th, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Snodgrass Funeral Chapel in Okotoks. Snodgrass Funeral Home (Okotoks) in care of arrangements, (403) 938-3111.

MORRIS, PAMELA ELAINE,

MORRIS—PAMELA ELAINE, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Pasqua Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Bert and Dot Morris, Pam will be sorely missed by her two loving sisters Pat (Leeson) Holloway, Wapella, Sask. and Rae (Tony) Kipper, Regina, Sask., as well as five cherished nieces and nephews, Sandra (Ken) Dobra, Grenfell, Sask., Morris (Collette) Holloway, Nanaimo, BC, Brent Holloway, Wapella, Sask., Susan (Eric) Kempin, Cochrane, Alta., Mark (Blanche) Holloway, Wapella, Sask. She also leaves to mourn her passing, ten very special great-nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Pam was born on the Morris farm near Wapella, Sask. on October 2, 1936. Upon completing her schooling in Wapella, she was a dedicated employee of Canada Safeway/MacDonald's Consolidated for 35 years and treasured the lifelong friendships she acquired there. After retirement in December, 1994, Pam enjoyed cruising to the East and West Caribbean, Alaska and South America. Unfortunately, due to failing health, her dream of a Mediterranean cruise was unfulfilled. Pam enjoyed watching football, curling, baseball and golf and was an avid fan and season ticket holder of the Saskatchewan Roughriders for 39 years. Her musical talent on the piano and organ entertained numerous people over the years. Pam will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, compassion, sense of humour and lover of all animals, especially her feline companion, "Blackie". A Memorial Service to celebrate Pam's life will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1. Interment to take place in Wapella, Sask. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Regina, Sask., S4P 3G7. Arrangements are entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (Phone 789-8850)

Irene leaves to mourn her husband Maynard McNab; children George (Bev), Richard (Cindy), Robert, Ronald, Brenda (Al), and Debbie (Darryl); stepsons Floyd and Kevin McNab; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Alex, Sam, Bill (Cathy), Lawrence; sisters Myrtle (Cal) and Iva (Leonard); as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. The Wake will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2003 at 5:00 PM in Gordon First Nation Gymnasium. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2003 at 2:00 PM, also in Gordon First Nation Gymnasium, with Rev. Art Anderson and Rev. Dale Gillman, officiating.
