KING - It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Russell Raymond King "Russ" on April 2, 2003. Russ was born July 30, 1923 in the Bridgeford district where he chose his life's work of farming until he retired to Central Butte. Russ was predeceased by his wife, Ila in 1989; mother, Gladys in 1941; father, Raymond (R.J.) in 1977; and brother, Phillip 1941. He is survived by sisters, Reta (Herman) Ridge-Saanichton, B.C.; Dorothy (Erle) Wilson-Moose Jaw; brothers, Tom (Marge) King-Central Butte; Walter (Joy) King- Vernon, B.C.; children: Eddie (Margaret) King- Esterhazy: Bob (Anita) King- Lucky Lake; and Cindy King- Saskatoon; grandchildren: Carrie, Deidre, Ryan, Melissa, and Melanie; as well as many nieces and nephews. In accordance to his wishes, Helen Reid will conduct a family memorial service at the Tugaske Community Hall on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 with a time of fellowship open to all friends to follow at 2:30pm. Memorialization will take place at the Tugaske Cemetery. Memorials to the Alzheimer Association, #301-2550 12th Ave., Regina S4P 3X1, would be appreciated. McMURRAY - Robert William (Bill) of Regina, Saskatchewan went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2003 after a courageous eleven year battle with a brain tumour. Born August 23, 1953 and raised in Russell Manitoba, Bill began his career as a Journeyman Lineman with Manitoba Hydro at age 18. In 1974, he married his best friend Kim and they had two children, Becki and Michael. They settled in Regina in 1980, where he began a long and rewarding career with SaskPower. He was an active member and an elder at Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church. Bill was a hard worker, and a skilled horseman and outdoorsman, but his greatest accomplishments were his two children who brought much joy to his life. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Kim, his children Becki (Scott) Thiessen ( Airdrie, AB) and Michael (Heather) McMurray (Meadow Lake, SK), parents Bob and June McMurray (Russell, MB), brother Guy (Kimberly) McMurray (Oakville, ON), nieces Robyn and Amy McMurray, mother-in-law Dolf MacFarlane, father-in-law Ken (Helen) MacFarlane, sister-in-law Bonnie (Ken) Robinson, as well as many relatives and countless friends. VISITATION to take place from 7:30- 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Regina Funeral Home, Highway #1 East. DUNBAR - Thelma Mae Dunbar passed away at Carnduff, SK Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her son, Lyle (Judi) Dunbar, St. Cloud, Minnesota; daughter, Karen (Joe) Bast, Oxbow, 3 grandchildren, Kelly Dunbar, Ryan and Jolene Bast; numerous nieces and nephews. ADAMS, AUDREY EILEEN - 1928 2003 Our loving and caring mother was welcomed into God's Kingdom on Sunday, August 24, 2003. Audrey passed away while in hospital due to a lengthy battle with heart disease. Audrey was born on December 21, 1928 in the small Saskatchewan town of Theodore. She spent her first six years with T.B. in Fort San, where she later nursed, also nursing in Willow Bunch, SK. Her husband Martin of 48 yrs. passed away in December of 1998. She leaves behind four devoted children, Bev (Daryl) Unser, Cheryl (John) Polnick, Debbie (Wayne) Spivak and Kevin (Laurie) Adams and six grandchildren Colin, Nicole, Aaron, Alyssa, Jarrett and Emily. She is survived by her brothers Earl and Bob, and sisters Dolores, Gloria and Darlene. Audrey spent her last year living in Calgary, enjoying her family and her new friends to the fullest. She enjoyed singing in the choir, painting and playing shuffleboard and cards. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Foothills Hospital Unit 32 for the wonderful care she received. DEAN - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of WILLIAM FRANCIS DEAN on August 25, at his home in Moosomin, Sask. Bill was born September 25, 1918. He farmed for over sixty years in the Langbank/Wapella area. He was active in local politics, serving as Reeve of Silverwood #123 and Chairman of Broadview School Division. He loved life, his family and his farm. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Clara and his five daughters and their families. KELLOUGH - Adored by all who met him, Ernest Wilson Kellough passed peacefully at home early Tuesday morning, August 26, 2003. Ernie will be dearly missed by his wife Mary, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. A devoted father, husband, brother, grandfather and greatgrandfather. Ernie's kind and generous spirit will always be cherished by his family. He and Mary celebrated many joyous times together, and were more in love than is imaginable. "They truly climbed the hill together, and hand in hand dad passed away with mom by his side." Ernie was born in Sutherland, Sasktchewan on December 2, 1915 to proud parents Ernie and Sadie. After serving in the Canadian Air Force as a meteorologist from 1940 to 1945, Ernie worked with the Medical Care Insurance Commission for the Government of Saskatchewan. "Gramps" later enjoyed his time as Commissionaire at the Regina Courthouse. Ernie was predeceased by his parents, his twin brother Clarence, and his youngest brother Howard, who died tragically as a pilot in World War II. Ernie's younger brother Cecil now resides in Toronto. "Grampa Snazzy's" amazing love of life and love, and his phenomenal sense of humor will not be forgotten by those who survive him. Together Mary and Ernie raised four children, enjoyed 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren: son Howard (Connie), granddaughter Mary (Brett) and great-grandson Ethan Ernie; son Thomas (Dianne), grandson Tom and great-grandchildren Ian and Laura. granddaughter Jennifer (Derek) and great granddaughter Charlotte, granddaughter Deborah (Phil), and granddaughter Charleen (Olaf); son Ernie (Carol), and grandsons Kai and Allister; daughter Kathy (Mark), grandson Mark (Simone) and great-grandchildren Ainsley and Mark Jr., grandson Jolyan (Bai Yang), granddaughter Anastasia (Bill), and granddaughter Victoria. Ernie will also be greatly missed by his brother Cecil (Ruth), many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and all those whose lives he has touched. The ""Fod"" was so proud of all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and we are all so ""proud to know that there is some Ernie Kellough"" in all of us. Thank you to Dr. Krieke, Shirley Swenson, and the home-care aides who so graciously cared for our Ernie. LIPSETT - ROBERT "BOB" passed away with his family close by on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at the age of 75 years. Bob was raised at the family farm near Pilot Butte and farmed in the Grand Coulee area for more than 50 years. Bob had a true love of the land and took great pride in his farm. During his retirement years, he spend winters in Arizona. Bob also enjoyed dancing, spending time with his family, and had a special place in his heart for his four dogs: Tiny, Shelby, Snoopy and Bambi. He was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. He will be greatly missed. Bob was predeceased by his first wife Jessie, second wife Stella, father Johnston and mother Edith. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Marlyn; sisters: Audrey (Art Grant) Thorne and Shirley Bogdane and brother Gordon (Frances), all of Regina; brother William (Carole) of Prince George, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
