KACHUR - Mike of Saskatoon, SK passed away on Monday, August 6, 2007 at his place of residence, The Parkridge Centre at the age of 65 years.
Mike was born in Wishart district, SK on August 31, 1941. He attended Halicz country school, after which in 1960 he moved to Saskatoon and was employed at Empire Meats. Mike was a UFCW Union representative, a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of St. George; and enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, socializing and entertaining. Mike will be sadly missed and leaves his family and friends with many fond memories.
Mike is survived by son, Ken Kachur (fiancée Terry-Lynn); grandchildren, Kristen Choquette, Jeff Moe, Jessica Stringer; and great grandchild, Shane Choquette; brothers and sisters, Margaret (Adolph) Karakochuk, Ed (Eleanor) Kachur, Bill (Elda) Kachur, Mary (Mervin) Musney, Sylvia (Peter) Danchak, Sly (Gladys) Kachur, Angela (Orest) Senkowski, Ronnie (Cynthia) Kachur, Lorne Kachur and Sharon, Gloria (Terry) Dubiel; one sister-in-law, Fran Kachur; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sally Jean Kachur (nee Pryma) in 1972; parents, John and Annie (nee Chorney) Kachur; brother, Ray Kachur, and nephew, Daryl Kachur.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Parkridge Centre.
Prayers will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of St. George, 214 Avenue M South, Saskatoon, SK. Celebrants will be Rt. Rev. Vladimir Mudri and Rt. Rev. Walter Kostiuk. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to James Werezak.

Linda Ann Mahoney
November 5, 1948 - August 3, 2007
MAHONEY – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Linda Ann Mahoney following a recent battle with cancer on Friday, August 3, 2007.
Linda’s memory will be cherished by her father, Peter Cherepuschak; sisters, Rosemary Lee (Larry), Sonia Cherepuschak, Angie Dueck (Leander); brother, Richard Cherepuschak (Trish); nieces and nephews, Jordan and Brendon Lee, Courtney, Heidi, and Lance Dueck, Tawni, Tanner and Tedi Cherepuschak; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jeremy Patrick Mahoney in 1997; and mother, Helen Cherepuschak in 2005.
Linda was born in Nipawin, SK on November 15, 1948. She received her Bachelor of Education and taught in Biggar, Nipawin, Coronach and Saskatoon in the Catholic school system. She married Jeremy Patrick in July 1975. Home, family and community supplied the meaningful components of her life. Linda will be remembered as an active member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Dormition of the Blessed Mother of God and appreciated the support of its members. Her consuming passions were gardening, books, cooking, and crafts. Her entertaining of family and friends will be missed by all.
Prayers will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. The Divine Liturgy will be on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Dormition of the Blessed Mother of God, 120 - 105 Street West, Saskatoon, SK, with Rev. Fr. Zenoviy Bahriy, Celebrant. Interment in Mabel Hill Cemetery, Nipawin, SK will follow.

Mrs. Katherine Anne Lehmann

Katherine Anne - It is with great sadness that the family announces Kathy's passing after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 82 years.
She was predeceased by her husband John; parents Christian and Anna Stroh; siblings Johnny, Mickey, Ralph and Betty McRobbie and brothers-in-law Cliff Wright and Bill McRobbie.
Kathy is survived by her family: son, John (Marlene) and their son J.D.; daughter, Jan (Paul) Richardson and their sons Drew and Boyd; sister, Mary Wright; sisters-in-law, Marie Stroh and Mary Stroh; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Kathy was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a gift for making people feel special. Her generous and fun loving spirit will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Trish McCarthy officiating.

Mr. Reuben "Rube" "Robby" Jacob Erfle
May 28, 1929 - August 8, 2007
Reuben Jacob “Rube” “Robby” Erfle was born on May 28, 1929 in Gravelbourg, SK and passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 in Montmartre, SK.
He was predeceased by his sister Alice; brothers Henry, Bill, Manuel and Albert “Lefty” and daughter Laurie.
Reuben is survived by his brother Mel; sister Adeline Fender, Helen Berge and Erna Lebsack; sisters-in-law Marge Erfle, Olive Erfle and Leona Erfle; wife Diane Johnston; his children Nikki (Clint) Huber, Kim (Darrell) Kramer, Rod Erfle, Jakki (Bob) Crowe, Ruebi Erfle and their mother Aline Erfle; Diane’s daughter Maggie (Tim) Petrychyn; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Reuben farmed in Assiniboia and Maryfield. Later he moved to Regina and retired to Montmartre. Reuben had a great love of sports – being an avid player in baseball and hockey. He was proud to know that he was nominated for the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame.
A VISITATION for family and friends will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Monday, August 13, 2007 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Joan P. Ritco
July 3, 1941 - August 7, 2007
Joan, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the age of 66 years.
Joan was born in Coolah, Australia in 1941. In 1964, at the age of 23, she met Pete Ritco of Kayville, SK, who was on a working visa, whom she married and returned to Canada with. Joan and Pete made their permanent residence in Regina, once she received her Canadian Citizenship. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, godmother and friend.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Freida Moon and two sisters Lorraine Valantini and Mary Wylie, all of Australia.
Joan will be greatly missed by her husband Pete; son Steven; sister Hazel; brothers-in-law Henry and Bruno; as well as many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends, both in Canada and Australia.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Monday, August 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.
