Mr. John "JACK" Watson
August 21, 1949 - September 29, 2007
WATSON, John (Jack) Dennis, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2007 at the age of 58 years, after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Gladys Watson (nee Eves) his life partner and best friend of 32 years. Loved father of Devin Watson and Michelle (Derek) Henry and grand-puppy Hydro. Dear brother of Joanne McNaughton (Don McGillvary), Donna (Bob) Cuthbert, Rick Watson (Sheri Wallace) and George Watson. Brother-in-law to Carolyn (John) Kwong, Janet (Gordon) Walker and Dennis Eves. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and friend to many. Jack could always be found outdoors whether it was golfing, camping, bicycling, fishing or just playing with his tools in the garage. He strived to be the best at everything through work and play. Mediocrity was not an option. Neither was catching a smaller fish, or missing out on the last scoop of ice cream. Jack also had a great sense of humour and wit that was always present, even during his final days. He had the ability to make a quick and lasting impression on everyone, and no one knew that better than his family. He was a complete family man and always looked out for their best interests. Indeed, he was the ‘jack’ of all trades and the master of them all. We miss him already. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Heritage United Church, 1050 N Arnason Street, Regina, SK S4X 4K9 on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM, with Reverend Dexter Van Dyke officiating. Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to Heritage United Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to Regina Funeral Home.
