Clarence passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 11, 2007 in Regina at the age of 71 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Anna; brothers John, Jack, Ted, Lawrence and Robert; sister Loretta and close friend of 13 years Dorothy Fink.
Clarence will be dearly missed by his siblings Ed (Eddie); Dan (Martha), Barbara (Percy) and Rose (Albert); sisters-in-law Jean, Violet and Sally; brother-in-law Mernie; son Blair; daughter Laura (Jim); grandchildren Alyshia, Nolan (Tiara), Renée (Jordan) and Ian; great grandchildren Tayah and Keianna.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Cliff Geiger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clarence’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.

Mr. Walter Lodington Smith
November 2, 1920 - September 11, 2007
On September 11, 2007, Mr. Walter L. Smith of Cupar passed away at the Cupar Nursing Home at the age of 86 years.
He was dad to Ted (Darlene) and Phyllis (Terry) White; Grampa to Karen (Sheldon) Siewert, Paul, Corie (Trent Linford) White and Chad White; great Grampa to Jordan and Abby Siewert; brother to Peggy Bond and John L. (Betty); brother-in-law to Freda Trill and uncle and friend to numerous others.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Joyce; brothers Phillip and Peter; sister Alice Turner; in-laws Frank Turner, Harry Bond and Ted Trill.
Walter loved hunting and fishing, especially his annual hunting trip to SW Saskatchewan. He was a long time member of the Cupar Curling Club, several Masonic Lodges, a life member of the T-Bird Patrol of the Wa Wa Shrine and a life member of the Touchwood Hills Wildlife Federation. He served his country in WWII and lived and farmed in the Cupar area for most of his life.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cupar, SK.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Touchwood Hills Wildlife Federation, Shriners Children's Hospitals or the Cupar and District Nursing Home Inc.
Dad (Grampa) loved his family. Being together with family and friends was always a wonderful time for him. We will miss him.

Rose passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the age of 93 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Wendel (1980); son Stanley; siblings John (Rosina) Deis, Xavier (Mary) Deis, Theresa (John) Irving, Sebastian (Angeline) Deis, Magdeline Wilson and Stephen Deis and brothers-in-law Peter Weichel, Tony Schaaf, Jack (Irene) Moses, Jack MacKerrow, Florian Klein, Joe Eberle and Orval Hoar and sister-in-law Magdeline Guzzwell.
Rose is survived by her children Lorraine (Frank) Kress, Jack (Ruth), Betty Anne (Joseph) Leitner and Margaret (Terry) Baseden; daughter-in-law Shirley (Warren); grandchildren Kevin (June), Brad (Marilyn), Wendy (Steven), Natalie, Valerie (Kevin), Martin (Cheralynn), Matthew (Lindsey), Vickie (Robin), Vanessa, Christine (Robert), Jason and Steven (Laurie); beloved great grandchildren James, Julie, Lyzander, Bryant, Brianna, Nevaeh and Tanisha; siblings Mary Hoar, Margaret Eberle, Christ (Agnes) Deis and Josephine Klein; brothers-in-law William Wilson and Tony (Fran) Moser; sisters-in-law Kay Schaaf, Cecile Weichel, Barbara MacKerrow, Elizabeth Weichel and Loretta Deis; as well as cherished extended family and friends.
A FUNERAL MASS will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Odessa, SK on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Louis Abello, celebrant.

Mr. Robert Warren Johnston
August 13, 1920 - September 12, 2007
Robert Warren Johnston, late of Parkside Extendicare, Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2007. He was born on August 13, 1920 at Regina, SK.
He was predeceased by his parents Bertha Warren and Allan Johnston. He became a teacher and taught school briefly but decided to return to the family farm north of Corning. He farmed there for many years and was involved with organizations such as the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and 4H club. He married Mavis Anderson (nee Bonnett) in April 1977. After Bob retired from farming, they spent their summers at Kenosee Lake and their winters in Mesa, Arizona before moving to Regina. Bob enjoyed activities such as socializing, dancing, playing crib, golfing, shuffleboard and watching sports. The Roughriders Football Team had a dedicated fan in Bob, and ill as he was recently, he enjoyed their recent victories. Bob had no children of his own, but obtained a ready-made family when he married Mavis. He was a well-liked grandfather to his six step grandchildren who have many fond memories of their Grandpa J.
Bob is survived by his wife Mavis, also of Parkside Extendicare; stepdaughters Carol Anderson, Devon (Phil) Anderson both of Regina, Alice Tome of Phoenix, AZ and Kim (Bruce) Waddell of Yorkton; step grandchildren Erin Bouchard, Sydney Craigen-Sabados, Justin Craigen, Chris, David and Dan Tomé. He is also survived by several cousins and their children.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Dawn Rolke officiating.

Mrs. Eileen Bieber
May 11, 1928 - September 13, 2007
Eileen passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the age of 79 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred (October 16, 2006).
Eileen is survived by her sons Garry (Karen) of Calgary and Brian (Cami) of Lethbridge; three grandsons Dan, David, and Brett; sister Dorothy Jacobs and sister-in-law Tillie Braun. Mother, Grandmother and Sister - you will be loved always.
At Eileen’s request a Private Family Service will be held.

Mr. Delmer "Del" Laverne Loney
October 16, 1914 - September 16, 2007
Del Laverne Loney passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2007 just one month short of his 93rd birthday, at the Pasqua Hospital of heart failure.
He was predeceased by his parents William George and Ethel Pearl.
Del is survived by his sons: Gary and his wife Shirley of Lloydminster, AB; Dale and his wife Shelly of Regina, SK and Farryl and his daughter Courtney of Ottawa, ON; grandchildren: Shawn Loney and his wife Marnie of Regina; Brent Loney and his wife Marnie (not a misprint) and Del’s first great grandchild Benjamin; Kyle Loney of Lloydminster; Rheana and her husband Vince Rogers of Denver, Colorado and Kendra Loney of Regina.
Del started his married life with Astrid Legrande on a farm on the south side of the valley at Disley, SK and moved the family to Regina in 1956 to 1020 Queen Street. Del worked at Sherwood Co-op for many years. He was also involved with Cubs and Boy Scouts and was a scout leader for many years. Some of his favorite memories came when coaching the neighborhood boys in the local baseball leagues. When the boys grew up, Del joined the Odd Fellow’s Lodge where he was an active leader and member as long as his health permitted and is a life member. He took great pride in the civic accomplishments of the Rebekah and Odd Fellow’s Lodges. Del spent most of his early retirement years traveling and has been to Europe, all over the United States, the Caribbean, and on many ocean cruises.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Pasqua Hospital for their compassion and special efforts to make Del’s final days as comfortable as possible.
