Mr. Peter Subchyshyn, age 94, beloved husband of Mrs. Stephanie Subchyshyn of Meath Park, SK passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. He was born on August 4, 1913 on the family farm in Meath Park where he farmed until 2000. He married Stephanie Masnyk on October 27, 1935 in Albertville. Peter is survived by his loving family: his wife Stephanie; his son Aloysius “Al” (Rhona) and their children Joanne (Tom) Halyk, Mitchell (Leigh-Anne) Subchyshyn and Rachel (Scott Norbury) Subchyshyn; his great-grandchildren Caillyn and Jamie Subchyshyn and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Gregory and Anna (nee Citulski) Subchyshyn; his brother Michael; his sisters Rosie (Peter) Kasperski, Mary (Jim) Mazey and Nellie (Alex) Korolischuk and several nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29 from Sacred Heart Cathedral – 1401 – 4 Avenue West by The Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Interment will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Victoria Hospital Foundation. RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL is entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Florence Mildred Johnson-Sickler
June 21, 1916 - September 23, 2007
Mrs. Florence Johnson-Sickler, late of Prince Albert, SK passed away very peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2007, at the age of 91 years. Florence was born on June 21, 1916 in Cleeves, SK. In 1936 she met and married Olaf Johnson. They resided in Cleeves where her first four children were born: Rita, Roger, Sydney and Wayne. After the war Florence and Olaf moved to Prince Albert where three more children were born: Harold, Ron and Larry. Olaf passed away in 1970. In 1972 Florence met and married her second husband, Jack Sickler. They resided in Lloydminster, SK until his passing in 1985. Florence then returned to Prince Albert where she had many enjoyable and memorable years with her family and friends. Florence was predeceased by her husbands Olaf Johnson and Jack Sickler; her infant twins Rita and Roger; her son Sydney Johnson; her grandson Roy Johnson; her parents Sophus and Emma Mork; her brothers Vernon, Edgar and Clifford Mork and her sister Irene Graham. Florence is survived by her loving family: her four sons Wayne (Bev), Harold (Pat), Ron (Wendy) and Larry (Hester); her fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; her two brothers Ray and Elmer Mork; a very special aunt Helen Cleave, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Dorreen Lukowich for the care given to mom in her home and a very special thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Mont St. Joseph Nursing Home for their care of mom, better known as “Pokie”.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1st from River Park Memorial Chapel. Pastor Dan Haugen will officiate. A private family interment of cremated remains will take place at The Garden of the Old Rugged Cross, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Ms Anne Rivney
April 5, 1923 - September 27, 2007
RIVNEY, Anne, loving mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on September 27, 2007 at the age of 84, in Estevan, SK. Born on April 5, 1923 in Regina, Saskatchewan.
She is predeceased by her parents Fred and Mary Ciz, brother William; and partner Don Scrope.
Anne is survived by her children Leona, William (Brenda), James (Linda) and Darrell; sister Nettie Uhren (Clifford); sister-in-law Shirley Ciz; grandchildren Lisa, Danielle (Stacey), Lindsay (James) and Michael; great grandchild Kaylee; as well as nieces and nephews.
A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, October 2, 2007at 11:00 am, with Pastor Kim Uhren officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan, 301 - 2550 - 13th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.

Mrs. Rhoda Evelyn Ingenthron
June 14, 1923 - September 30, 2007
Rhoda passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2007.
She was predeceased by her husband Ralph; her parents and numerous brothers and sisters.
Rhoda is survived by her children Floyd and his children Nicole and Will, Donna (Wayne) Coderre and their children Richard and Christopher (Nicole), Merle (Maureen) and their children Justin, Darren and Tenniel; her brother Jim (Lorraine) Pomeroy of Calgary; as well as extended family and friends.
Rhoda was born in Regina and raised at Gray, SK. She married Ralph on November 8, 1944 and together they raised their loving family. Rhoda worked at the Northgate Woolco for many years. She enjoyed her family, attending church, working in the garden, dancing, playing piano and pets. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
A VISITATION will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK (Tonight) Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina, SK on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rhoda’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301, 2550 – 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.

Mr. Ivan Alphonse Tokevich
January 13, 1918 - October 2, 2007
Ivan Alphonse Tokevich, dear husband and father passed away peacefully after a short illness on October 2, 2007.
Ivan was born in Transcona, Manitoba on January 13, 1918. He served proudly and honourably with the Canadian Forces in World War II, as did his brothers Vincent and Alexander.
Ivan will be sadly missed by his wife Sylvia; son Terry; daughter Linda; his sister Josephine (Wally) Weisbrodt of Creston, BC and a large extended family; as well as canine companions: Scooter, Max and Chili. He was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Josephine Tokevich; brothers Joseph, Vincent and Alexander and sister Bernice Ward and Olga Pashley.
At Ivan’s request, no funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ivan’s memory to the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7 or Regina Palliative Care, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A4.

BOJCZUK, Velma (nee Gallenger) was born on September 10, 1922 and passed away suddenly on October 2, 2007 in Regina, SK at the age 85 years. She was born and raised in Regina and was one of nine children. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Elsie and siblings Yanke, Marie and Irene. Velma is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, William (Bill); sons Gary (Tina) and Don; daughters Joanne (Ed) Meyer and Maureen (Dave) Nation; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as her sisters and brothers Agnes of Quebec, Joe of Regina, Pat of Regina, Steve of South Carolina and Albert of Burlington. Velma’s passions were her family, friends, dancing, socializing and gatherings. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, 2636 7th Avenue East, Regina, SK on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 10.30 a.m. INTERMENT will follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
