March 13, 1932 - October 22, 2007
Andrew (Skip) was born on March 13, 1932 in Toronto, ON and passed away on October 22, 2007 in Regina, SK at the age of 75 years.
He was predeceased by his parents and grandson Nicholas McKimm at birth.
Skip is survived by his devoted wife Mary (nee Feko); children Stephen (Kathy) McKimm of Regina and Terry (Todd) Lewis of Gray, SK; grandchildren Joshua McKimm, Matthew Ramsay and Kimberly Lewis. He also leaves behind his brother Frank McKimm (Chris) in Ontario and Mary's family in Alberta.
Skip spent 30 years in the Air Force and Integrated Services before retiring from the forces and settling in Regina. After his retirement Skip worked for People's, MacKenzie's and Mappin's Jewelers in Regina. After completing his 2nd career, Skip joined the Corp of Commissionaires and enjoyed 10 years of service, both working and instructing. Special thanks to the nursing staff at the Pasqua Hospital who were so kind to Skip in his final days.
At Skip's request, a private family service will be held. Donations may be made in Skip's memory to a charity of one's choice.

Mrs. Jean Margaret Giles
October 29, 1932 - October 23, 2007
Jean Margaret passed away at home on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 surrounded by the love of her family one week short of her 70th birthday.
Waiting for Jean at Heaven’s Gate are her parents Stewart and Esther Lockie; mother and father-in-law Eric and Agnes Giles; brothers-in-law William Shewfelt, Irvin Gill and Ed Mayhew; sister-in-law Mary Lockie.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Donald of 47 ½ years; children Brenda, Stuart, Richard (Brita), Howard, Orland (Darla); precious grandchildren; and siblings Ian (Christel), Norman (Mabel), Joyce (Paul) Cantin, Roberta Gill, David (Joan), Donald (special friend Karen); sister-in-law Dorethea Mayhew; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Apostolic Church, 808 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 10:00 am, Reverend Rick Parkyn and Reverend Ernie Metz officiating. Donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Regina Apostolic Church or the Apostolic Women’s Ministry.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Lotz, Dr. Reyson, and all of the Palliative Care team, as well as all those who supported Jean and her family through their difficult journey.

Mr. Alexander 'Alex' Kerr
November 3, 1937 - October 22, 2007
KERR, Alex was born on November 3, 1937 at Herbert, SK. On October 22, 2007, Alex passed away peacefully in his wife's arms in Grants, New Mexico on his way to his winter home in Mesa, Arizona.
Alex is survived by his wife Denise of 49 years; his daughters Diana (Rick) Pawliw, Linda (Brent) McConnell, and Debra (Lyle) Ulrich; grandchildren Cameron, Curtis, Luke, Amanda, Madison, Kassandra and Dalton; and brother-in-law Barry Sullivan.
Alex enjoyed a 35 year career at SaskTel. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren and his sons-in-law were also very special to him. Alex was very involved in the Ram Football organization throughout the 60's and 70's. He loved his trips to Craven where he visited with his friends and listened to his country music. He also got great enjoyment from watching his sports, particularly his baseball games on TV. The family wishes to thank all of his friends who helped out the family during this trying time.
A VISITATION for family and friends will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy # 1 East, Regina, SK on Saturday, October 27, 2007 from 7:00-9:00 PM.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 - 8 Street E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5.

Mrs. Odilia "Tillie" Thuringer
August 24, 1908 - October 25, 2007
Tillie passed away on October 25, 2007 in Regina, SK at the age of 99 years. She was born in 1908 in Davin, SK and lived all her life in the Vibank and Davin area. She married Peter Thuringer in 1932. Peter died in 1983. They had four sons Joseph, who died in infancy, Harold (Barbara), Peter (Geraldine) and his first wife Erna who died in 1988 and Joseph who died in 1967 at the age of 21 years. Tillie was the second of 11 children born to Stefan and Salome Klotz.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers Nick, Frank, John, Tom and Marcus and sisters Kay and Wallie.
Tillie is survived by her sister Elsie; brothers Adam and Peter and sister-in-law Rose. She was a proud and loving grandma of ten; step grandmother of two; great grandmother of 23 and step great grandmother of six.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Sunset Extendicare for the care given to Tillie over the past years.
A VISITATION will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A MASS of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Church, Vibank, SK on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Tillie will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Peter and their sons at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Vibank, SK.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Tillie’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Mrs. R. Lynne Furry
June 23, 1940 - October 24, 2007
R. Lynne Furry (nee Helmsing) late of Assiniboia, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the age of 67 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Evelyn Helmsing; brother Rob and nephew Shaun.
Lynne's memory will be cherished by her family her loving husband O.R. "Fuzz"; son Tim (Tracy); granddaughter McKeely; brothers Hewitt (Gay) of Victoria and Rick (Joan) of Regina; sisters-in-law Colleen Helmsing and Janice Thompson; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A CELEBRATION OF LYNNE'S LIFE AND RECEPTION will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina in the Arbor Room on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Greg Dermody officiating. A PRIVATE FAMILY INTERMENT will take place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Barry Bruce officiating.
Those wishing may make donations in Lynne's memory to the Regina General Hospital, Unit 6A Education Fund, 1440 14th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 0W5, or to Palliative Care, 4F - 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
