It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Shillingford announces his passing on October 24, 2007. Bob was born on the family farm at Fleming, SK to Montague Charles Shillingford and Ruby May Saxton. He was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters.

Bob did many things in his lifetime. In his younger days, he raced stock cars, played and coached hockey, played ball, hunted and snowmobiled. He also had a great love for horses. Later on he just enjoyed a leisurely drive in the country and around Balgonie with ‘Gramma’ in his blue 1971 Chev truck stopping and talking with many people. Bob was always ready to lend a hand to those who needed it. He also took great joy in watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs win.
