On October 27, 2007, Mrs. Sylvia Ast of Fort Qu'Appelle passed away in her sleep at the age of 89 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Janice (Sandy) Wass, Diannah Lechner, Debbie (David) Glover and daughter-in-law Carolle; ten grandchildren Rod (Dionne) Lechner, Stephen (Michelle) Lechner, Kelly Lechner, Curt (Patti) Wass, Andrea (Steven) Wesdyk, Warren (Kelly) Wass, Val (Rick Godlein) Lechner, Cory (Crystal) Lechner, Trent (Janet) Glover and Ryan (Daniela) Glover; 14 great grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Martin and Vange Wilson; brother Ed (Helen) Lindenbach; sisters-in-law Ella, Norma and Eda; as well as numerous other relatives.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred; son Ron; grandson Jason and brothers Herman, Albert, Art, Bob and Ernie.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE was held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK with interment following in Regina Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of other tributes donations may be made to Echo Lodge in Fort Qu'Appelle.

Mrs. Kassie Tiefenbach
October 9, 1909 - October 27, 2007
On October 27, 2007 Mrs. Kassie Tiefenbach of Regina, formerly of the Kennel District passed away peacefully at the age of 98 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Leonard and Linda (Stan) Rempel both of Craven; grandchildren Leonard (Darla Whitaker) Dawson of Regina, Tracey (Paul) Sentes of Southey, Rolanda (Jason) Cunningham of Regina, step-grandchildren Sheri (Gavin) Wilkenson, Trevor (Melanie) Rempel, Corie (Amanda Pekrul) Rempel and Trent Rempel and his girlfriend Amy; great grandchildren Brayden, Shawn, Jaylyn, Tyler and Colby; brother Mike Puzyr of Germany as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK with a private family interment to follow in Regina Memorial Gardens. I

Erich was born on June 17, 1917 in Stuttgart, Germany and passed away on October 27, 2007 in Regina, SK.
He was predeceased by his wife Margareta and his beloved sister.
Erich leaves to cherish his memory daughters Doris Hofmann and Lilli Hofmann; grandchildren Brandon, Kelly, Brittany and Chelsea and two great grandchildren.
A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at St. Anthony’s Mausoleum, Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Alexander "Alex" Henry Dorma
June 7, 1964 - October 26, 2007
On October 26, 2007, Mr. Alex Dorma, of Whitewood, SK passed away tragically at the age of 43 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Lavina; son Alex; sisters Elma (Tim) Shoulak and Suzanne Dorma (Darrell Prohor); brothers Everett (Leslie Rozon) and Steven; nieces Christa (Roy) Seitz (their children Ashley and Tyden), Nicole Shoulak (Mike Cotcher), Ali Shoulak and Destiny Bitternose; nephews Arthur, William (Steph Tuttosi, their son Torr), Steven (Angie Louison) and Michael (Tracy Straub); aunts Esther (Gus) Greening, Anne (Al) Hall, Caroline Wasacase, Ruth (George) Henry and Donna (Maurice) Quesnel; uncle Wilbert Henry as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Alex Sr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Alex loved spending time with his son Alex III and his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and horseshoes. He was an exceptional carpenter who took great pride in his work.
A WAKE will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship, 3131 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. A PIPE CEREMONY will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 beginning at 8:00 a.m. with a TRADITIONAL FEAST to follow at 10:00 a.m. also at the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Juliette Florence Herback
October 19, 1924 - October 29, 2007
Juliette Florence Herback (nee Carignan), dearly beloved wife of Jacob (Jack) Herback of Regina, peacefully went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2007 at the age of 83 years.
She is survived by her four sons Marcel (Donna) of McLean, Leonard (Bonnie) of Regina, Paul (Zamanda) of Calgary and Claude (Tanis) of Calgary; two daughters Diane (Myles) Hradec of Calgary and Lorraine (Louis) Chabot of Qu’Appelle; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers Armand (Ferne) of St. Albert and Guy of Edmonton; sisters Bernadette Williams of Calgary, Gilberte Couture of Winnipeg and Yolande of Nanaimo; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Jack (1992); infant daughter Marion (1950); parents Edouard and Annette (Bellefeuille) Carignan; three brothers and three sisters.
Juliette was born on October 19, 1924 and was raised near Ponteix, SK. She married Jack Herback in 1946 and together they raised six children. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A FUNERAL MASS will be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend J.B. Okai, celebrant. Juliette will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Jack at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, if friends so desire memorial tributes may be made in Juliette’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
