On Wednesday, February 20, 2002, Joseph Tremblay, age 77, a lifelong farmer of the Courval district, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. Joe will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Claire; five children: Lorraine (Blaine) Ferrara, Denis (Laraine), Vivianne (Ron) Grue, Claude (J.C.) (Roxane) and Donald (Dianne); eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Joe is also survived by five brothers and two sisters as well as numerous other relatives and friends. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 25, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Moose Jaw with Father Keith Goldrup C.Ss.R. as presiding Celebrant. A private interment will take place at a later time. A Prayer Service will be held Sunday evening (February 24), 7:00 p.m. at the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Association, #301-2550-12th Ave., Regina, Sask., S4P 3X1or to Guardian Grove, c/o Providence Place Foundation, 100-2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, Sask., S6H 1B8 would be appreciated by the family. LEWIS REGINALD COULTER
July 28, 1908 – November 30, 2001
It is with great sorrow that Reg’s family announce his passing. Born at Bethune, Saskatchewan to Lewis and Ethel Coulter, he married Violet Bogle in 1932. Together they started farming in the Crestwynd district in 1932 and moved to Moose Jaw in 1997. Reg was a district member of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, and was a Councillor for the R.M. of Hillsborough for 25 years. Predeceased by his parents; brothers: Stan and Vernon; sisters: Gladys and Nellie. Reg is survived by his wife, Violet of 69 years; daughters: Cora, Sharon ( Bryan ), Terry (Spencer), sisters-in-law: Pearl Coulter, Velda Coulter, Louise Bogle and Ev (Russ) Jordan; grandchildren: Shelley (Marcel), Kevin (Bonnie), Shawn (Chere), Chad (Cindy), Jody and Jenna; great-grandchildren: Carmine, Natalie, Kelsi, Brittnee, Taylor and Brandy as well as several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Pastor Cory Steinson will officiate. EDNA LEIMAN
EDNA LEIMAN of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2002 after a short battle with lung cancer. Edna was born on December 1, 1925, attended school in Verlo and Gull Lake, Saskatchewan and relocated to Swift Current and eventually to Moose Jaw in 1966. Predeceased by son, Dallas in 1952, father, Olaf in 1956, husband, Ted in 1977, brother, Stanley in 1982, mother, Alma in 1983 and sister, Doris in 1997. Edna is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Grieve of Saskatoon; granddaughters: Tami Oonincx (Rob) and Tera Grieve – both of Moose Jaw; great-grandchildren, Danielle Grieve and Kyle Huber of Moose Jaw, sister, Gladys (Charlie) Moorwood of Salmon Arm, B.C., sister-in-law, Bernice Tucken of Calgary, AB, brother-in-law, Dave McKenzie of North Vancouver; nieces and nephews: Patricia, Rhonda, Brian, Bruce, Katherine and Marion. A time to remember Edna at a “Come & Go” Tea will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2002 from 2-4 p.m. at the W. J. Jones & Son Family Centre, 262 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. CLINTON BAUCK
Clinton Gary Bauck of Chaplin, Saskatchewan passed away suddenly on Friday, May 25, 2001 at the age of 35 years. He was born on September 29, 1965 at Central Butte, Saskatchewan to Gary and Donalda Bauck. Clint attended school and graduated in Chaplin. He attended SIAST for two years then worked at the Service Station in Chaplin. He later worked in Moose Jaw for Midas Muffler and General Electric Railcar Repair. Clint then transferred to Sardis, B.C. where he worked for Procor and then returned to Moose Jaw to work with General Electric Railcar until present. Predeceased by his mother, Donalda in 1975, his grandfather, Melvin in 1993, grandmother, Mary in 1995, great-grandparents, Robert Sr. and Nora Polley, great-grandma Biggs and great-grandma Doell. Clint is survived by his wife, Julie and their daughters, Robyn, Sarah and Tilynn, his Dad, Gary and Anne, his brother, Murray (Anita) (and their daughter, Brooke); Clara Bauck & Brad and Bonita Brenner (and their sons, Chris and Carson); step-sisters, Brenda (Scott) Bugg (and their children, Ryan and Kayla) and Rhonda (Mike) Korchinsky (and their children, Theoren and Raeanne); step-brother, Wade (Jane) Delmage (and their children, Madelynn and Jessie); brothers-in-law, Dave (Alma) Van der Raadt (and their children, Eriq, Kyle and Kala), Geof (Donna Lee) Heselton; parents-in-law, Ann (Bill) Heselton; father-in-law, Ron Ackerman; grandparents, Robert (Pearl) Polley and uncles, Jim (Doris) Bauck, Garth (Norma) Polley, Neil (Loreena) Polley and Keith (Wendy) Polley as well as numerous other cousins. Clint loved sports, especially curling, hunting, fishing, boating, golfing and was very active in the Chaplin Civic Centre. Clint loved his girls and all of their activities - his girls always came first. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chaplin Community Complex. Pastor Doug Shepherd will officiate. Interment will take place at the Chaplin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chaplin Civic Centre. ERIKA ENNS
Erika Enns (nee: Friesen) passed away Tuesday October 15, 2002 at the age of 75 years. Erika was born January 23, 1927 in Rush Lake, Sask. She married her school sweetheart in 1951, farmed at Tugaske, Sask. until 1996 when they retired to Moose Jaw, where they continued to enjoy visits from relatives and friends and made many new friendships. Erika was a strong member of the church and community. She enjoyed quilting, genealogy, writing and volunteering. Erika was predeceased by her father, George Friesen, mother, Susie Stobbe, brothers, Victor and Rudy and infant son, Kenneth. Erika, fondly known as Ricky is survived by her loving husband of 51 years John, children: Alvena (Lorne) Cooper of Saskatoon, Elroy (Myrna) Enns of Eyebrow, Raymond (Kathleen) Enns of Kenaston, Eleanor (Stew) Shepherdson of Moose Jaw, Karen (Philip) Fullerton of Lacadena, Connie (Dan) Boehr of Watrous, Gerald (Linda) Enns of Tugaske, Lenita (Ron) Gutiw Calgary, Rhonda Enns (Richard) of Tugaske, and 27 grandchildren, brothers: Art (Hilda) Friesen, Henry (Sara) Friesen, sisters: Louise (Jim) Griffith, Erna (Pete) Doell; as well as many other close relatives. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 11:30 A.M. at the Alliance Church (Corner of Ninth Avenue N.W. and Thatcher Drive). Rev. Steven MacCuaig will officiate. DORIS HUNDEBY
MRS. DORIS HUNDEBY of Regency Manor, Central Butte, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 4, 2001, at the age of 84 years. Doris was born on the family farm in the Loreburn district in 1916. The family farmed there until moving to Elbow in 1929. After graduating from high school, Doris took her nurses training at the Sick Children’s Hospital in Toronto. In April 1943 she married her childhood sweetheart, Arthur Hundeby in St.Louis, Missouri. Doris and Arthur moved to Chicago where they resided for over 40 years. In Chicago, Doris was an operating nurse in the Illinois Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital. In 1985 they returned to Sask. choosing to live in Central Butte. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Bellwood, Illinois and still kept in contact with them. Doris also square danced, bowled, and was an active bingo player. Both she and Art were very supportive of many charities, as well as the Church in Central Butte and Elbow. They were instrumental in hearing aids being installed in the Church pews in Central Butte. Doris is predeceased by her parents, Charlotte and Richard Ham; husband, Art; two sisters: Mary and Margaret; and two brothers: Earl and Ivan. She is survived by her sister, Irene (Bernard) German; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Central Butte United Church on Saturday, September 8, 2001 at 2:00 pm. Reverend Helen Reid will officiate. Interment will follow at the Elbow Cemetery. Memorials to Regency Manor, Central Butte, would be appreciated.

In loving memory of Virgil Marj Scharf who passed away early Tuesday, February 6th, 2001. Virgil was the daughter of Elmar and Ellen Dahlgren. She was predeceased by her husband Milton Elwin Scharf, sister Pearl Cumberland, daughter Shirley Gould, brother Ken Dahlgren and one sister-in-law Evelyn Dahlgren. Virgil is survived and lovingly remembered by her son Don Scharf, granddaughters: Nancey and Lynn Scharf, great-granddaughter Tiah Scharf, brother and sister-in-law Myron and Doreen Dahlgren, brother-in-law Jim Cumberland (Inez), son-in-law R.J. Gould, grandsons: Brent and Doug (Sue) Gould, great-granddaughter Jackie Gould and great-grandson Steven Gould. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 12th, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. at the W.
