ELLEN GIBSON
We'll miss you, Auntie Ellen. After a brief illness, Ellen Sarah Gibson, 83, passed away on January 20, 2011. Born in Moose Jaw on April 20, 1927, Ellen loved her home town and always delighted in meeting and greeting people she knew in the community. Many will remember Ellen from her many years at Eaton's before it closed, after which she enjoyed an early retirement which included annual Winter vacations in Arizona. She also enjoyed her visits to Hawaii and, at home, a bit of fun at the casino. Most of all, Ellen loved spending time with her family, especially at the home of Jack and Mim Gibson. In latter years, weekly lunches with her nephew and his wife, John and Debbie Gibson, and visits with her niece, Linda Gibson, and her grand-niece and nephew, Sara and Kyle, were happily on her agenda. A sweet lady who had a smile for everyone and who retained her sense of humour until the end, Ellen will be sadly missed by John, Debbie, Linda, Kyle and Sara and her husband, Dean Nutzhorn. Ellen was predeceased by her parents, Ellen and Bill, and by her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Larry Cota, her brother and sister-in-law, John (Jack) and Miriam (Mim) Gibson, and her brother, Tom Gibson.
