It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of RICHARD “TINY” BELLEFEUILLE, age 46, on August 24, 2005, with his family by his side. Richard was born at Shaunavon where he grew up and received his education. After moving to Pense, he farmed until 1998 and also worked for CP Railway until his passing. Richard was predeceased by one sister, Laurie in 1960. He is survived by his wife, Carol; sons: Cole, Greg and Michael, his parents, Gerry and Carol of Moose Jaw; two brothers: Darrell (Rhonda) of Shaunavon, and Shaun of Moose Jaw; two sisters: Karleen (Bill) of Meadow Lake and Celine of Moose Jaw, mother and father-in-law, Phyllis and Al Evans of Moose Jaw, sister-in-law, Lori (Kelvin) Bradford of Moose Jaw; brothers-in-law: Brent (Shelly) Evans of Moose Jaw and Brad (Cathy) Evans of Warman, as well as many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to his special angel, Sheila. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Moose Jaw. An evening prayer service will be held Friday, August 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel. JOSHUA STEWART
The family of Joshua Joseph Stewart is saddened to announce the tragic passing of their beloved son and brother on November 7, 2005 at the age of 18 years. Joshua was well loved, very outgoing, athletic, and had a great zest for life. His infectious smile brightened up the darkest moments and brought much happiness to those he touched. Joshua will be sadly missed by his mother Sandra, his step-dad Brad, twin brother Aaron, brothers Adam and Jesse; and his sister Sarah; as well as two great-grandmothers, his grandparents, his father Craig, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Hillcrest Apostolic Church, 1550 Main St. N., on Saturday November 12, 2005 at 1:30 pm. Reverend David Moore will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, memorials to the Children’s Wish Foundation, Box 309, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 3L3, would be appreciated. ORMA KLOCKOW
Mrs. Orma Klockow, of Regina and formerly of Moose Jaw and the Chamberlain district, passed away January 23, 2003 at the age of 90 years. Orma was born at Markham, Ontario November 11, 1912 and came west with her family to the Sunset district in 1921. Orma taught school in various rural communities until her marriage to Alan Klockow on November 9, 1941 . They resided on the Klockow farm south of Chamberlain until retiring to Moose Jaw in 1974. Orma was very active in the United Church at Chamberlain, as an Elder, teaching Sunday School and with the U.C.W. While in Moose Jaw, she and Alan enjoyed attending dances. Orma loved doing all kinds of crafts. Predeceased by her husband, Alan; son, Bob; and brother, Bruce, she is survived by sons, Garth (Maxine) and Keith (Heather) – all of Regina; daughter-in-law, Shirley – Calgary; grandchildren: Kevin (Angela) and Erin Klockow – Calgary; and Kimberly and Jaret Klockow – Regina; great-grandchildren: Julie and Jonathan - Calgary; sister-in-law, Sadie Storry – Moose Jaw; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Monday, January 27, 2003 at 1:30 pm . Dr. Bob Kimmerly will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery . Memorials to the Sask. FERDINAND BEGIN
FERDINAND BEGIN passed away at Moose Jaw Union Hospital on Friday, October 28, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Ferdinand was born Ulric Ferdinand on November 27, 1915. He grew up on the farm north of Alida and attended Arbor Vitae and Chapelle Schools. He enlisted in the Army during World War II and stationed overseas. After the war he farmed in Alida until retirement. No matter what Ferdinand did he did it with passion. Whether it was cards or gardening, it was done with gusto. He traveled to many places – Russia, Europe, Cuba and the Caribbean and knew what it meant to live life to its fullest. Ferdinand will be missed by all who knew him. We will miss his award winning smile after a joke or two. He is predeceased by his second wife, Martha, parents, Ulric and Albertine; brothers: Vincent, Alvin and Cyril, one sister, Irene; sisters-in-law: Leona and Eunice, son-in-law, Bob Bell and a nephew, Douglas. He leaves to mourn his children: David - Mali, Africa, Derek (Rhonda) – Cochrane, Irene (Rick) Wurster – Sherwood Park, Beverly Bell – San Diego, Robert (Roberta) – Calgary, Amiee (Dale) Kowal – Edmonton; his brothers: Clement – London, ON, Francis – Weyburn, one sister, Bernadette (John) Berjian – Regina; twelve grandchildren: Mark, Crystal, Nicholas, Mike, Dann, Jesse, Carey, Aaron, Mathew, Heather, Carter and Spencer, as well as many nieces and nephews. MELVIN ADRIAN
MELVIN EDGAR ADRIAN of Morse, passed away suddenly at home on March 10, 2007, at the age of 75 years. Dad was born September 29, 1931 in the Antler, Saskatchewan area. He married Mom on June 29, 1954. They farmed in the Ernfold community and as well Dad was employed by the RM of Morse until his retirement in 1994. Dad was predeceased by Mom, Ruth, in 1991, his parents, John and Kathleen Adrian and brother, Harold Adrian. Dad is survived by his three children: son, Wayne (Lori), his children: Leah (Scott) Hartley and Brian; son, Dale (Lori) and their children: Angela (Corbin) Erickson and great-grandson, Parker, Sondra (friend, Jay Hamilton), Jared, Shanna and great-granddaughter, Emma; daughter, Lois, her daughter, Lola (Derrick Reimer) and great-granddaughter, McKenna. Dad is also survived by his brothers: Walter ( Lena ), Clarence and Gordon (Maureen) Adrian. The Funeral Service was held at 2p.m.on Wednesday March 14, 2007 in the Morse Community Hall. Interment followed at the Morse Cemetery. North, Saskatoon, S7L 5Z5. Melvin had a unique sense of humor, known by some as a sweet-heart. He really enjoyed the times when his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as family, friends and neighbours came to visit him. Melvin took a lot of pride in farming and the years he spent working with the R.M. He was kind, considerate and generous, putting others before himself. WAYNE McKENZIE
Wayne McKenzie passed away peacefully at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital on Tuesday March 1, 2005 with his family by his side, at the age of 66 years. Wayne was born in Moose Jaw on February 22, 1939. He grew up on the family farm (Belford Farm). Wayne farmed all his life and had a special love of heavy horses. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and uncle. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Elsie McKenzie, and baby granddaughter, Emma Lauren Wilk. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Maria (Rob) Wilk and Crystal McKenzie; and sister, Joy Burtnick and family. Wayne spent every day of the year doing thoughtful, nice things, touching all the lucky people around him. He always brought joy to others and will be sadly missed by those whose lives he touched. A Celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church on Saturday March 5, 2005 at 1:30 pm. Reverend Peter Calhoun and Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening 7–9 pm at W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. DELLA BROWN
MRS. DELLA BERTHA BROWN formerly of Moose Jaw and Darmody, Saskatchewan, passed away at the Herbert Nursing Home on Monday, December 20, 2004 at the age of 97 years. Born at Greenbrier, Saskatchewan, August 4, 1907, Della married Vern Brown at Outlook, Saskatchewan December 24, 1925. They farmed in the Darmody District, retiring to Moose Jaw in 1972. Della had become a resident at the Herbert Nursing Home in September of 2004. Predeceased by her husband, Vern, infant daughter, Della, daughter-in-law, Beverly, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Della is survived by her sons: Gordon (Elsie) Brown and Ronald Brown (Julie), Norman Brown; daughters: Doris (Bill) MacLachlan, Alta (Jake) Burgess, Marion (Dale) Scott, Ida (Lorne) Chelsberg, Carolyn (Denys) Stubbins, Corrine (Larry) Wendt; twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren; her sisters: Muriel Tucker, Edith Forsythe, Melba Molde, Hazel Maitland and Joyce South. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
