It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Grace Mitchell of Moose Jaw, SK.on September 22, 2007 at the age of 69 years, after a short but tiring illness. Lois was born September 22, 1938 at Lake Alma, SK. She is predeceased by her father James Emile Breton, her mother Esther Opal Breton, and by five sisters, Delores Breton, Della Breton, Diane Breton, Joanne Breton, and Wendy McCrum. Lois is survived by her companion, Terry Dean; her daughter, Kim Johnstone (Francis), and grandchildren, Ron Mitchell (Cheryl), Mitchell Robert, Melissa Welch, Jessie Welch, and Rebecca Johnstone; also two sisters, Mavis Zy ba and Shirley (Richard) Baum; three brothers, Floyd Breton, Jack (Elaine) Breton, and Dave Breton; as well as many nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Lois’ life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Friday September 28, 2007 at 1:30 pm. Linda Owens will be the celebrant. Family memorialization will take place at Rosedale Cemetery at a later time. Memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated. In living memory of Lois, a tree will be planted by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
GORDON H. CLEMENT
Gordon H. Clement of Moose Jaw, passed away on Tuesday March 14, 2006 at the age of 97 years. Gordon was born on November 29, 1908 in Palmerston, ON and came to Saskatchewan with his parents at a young age. He served in the Second World War, working in communications. Gordon spent his entire working career with the Canadian Pacific Railway, retiring in 1974. Predeceased by his parents, Francis and Margaret, his wife Winnifred, and special close friend Inga Comstock, he is survived by his adopted family: Daryl Comstock – Calgary, Tracey Isenor and her daughters Desiree and Kaia – Moose Jaw, and Jeff Isenor – North Battleford . A Private Family Service was held at W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home, Reverend Frank Mitchell officiating. Following cremation, memorialization will take place at Rosedale Cemetery . In living memory of Gordon, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
TWILA McNALLY
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Twila with her family by her side, on Sunday January 13, 2008 at the age of 59 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Bruce and Sadie Storry, Twila will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ray; son Corby, and daughter Shelaine, grandson Kayd; her brother, Don (Maureen) Storry; brothers and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Stewart, Grace McNally, Harold (Pat) McNally, Albert Luzny and Roy McNally; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Twila’s life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Thursday January 17, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Pastor John Duerksen will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. RUTH PERRY
RUTH PERRY of Providence Place, Moose Jaw, passed away May 17, 2005at the age of 80 years. She was born December 21, 1924 in Edmonton, Alberta. Prior to 1974 Ruth worked as a clerk at the Deer Lodge Hospital in Winnipeg. Ruth married David Perry on December 20, 1974 at the Deer Lodge Chapel in Winnipeg. Her hobbies included knitting, watching T.V., traveling and spending time with her favorite family pet dog. During Ruth’s retirement they enjoyed traveling to British Columbia and Calgary. Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation Saturday evening (May 21, 2005) from 7-9 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home, Moose Jaw. In living memory of Ruth, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Edith Lillian Byrnes (nee Sears), age 90 years of Regina and former long time resident of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 15, 2004 with her family at her side. Predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) in 1977, her parents, one brother and seven sisters, Mom/Grama will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters: Donna Firth and Lynne (Bruce) Goalen; grandsons, Sean Goalen (Valerie Phillips, Arthur and Michael Dorma), Chad (Brandee) Goalen (Torrie Kuiper) and Darryl Firth; granddaughter, Katie Goalen – all of Regina. She also leaves to mourn sisters, Harriet Stanhope of Moose Jaw and Marjorie (Bruce) McMorran of Victoria, BC; sister-in-law, Wilma (Jim) Heming of Moose Jaw and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity United Church, Moose Jaw, on Wednesday May 19, 2004 at 1:30 pm. Pastor Bill Thomson will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Isabel M. Harrower, age 80 of Moose Jaw, passed away on July 22, 2004 . In keeping with Isabel’s wish, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held following cremation. Isabel was born February 12, 1924 in Milestone. She is survived by her husband, Howard; three sons: Bruce (Gail) – Winnipeg, Tim (Patty) – Moose Jaw, Mark (Bev) – Moose Jaw; two daughters: Linda (Gordon) – Leader, SK, and Cathy (Brian) – Tuxford; ten grandchildren and one sister Hazel Rimmer – North Vancouver, BC. Memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61 B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2; or the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, S4T 1A5, would be appreciated. Walter Raymond Skipper of Stony Beach, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 26, 2009 at the age of 72. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years Faye; their daughters Laura, Carolyn (Doug), Patricia (Jody), and Robyn (Steven); grandchildren Dustin (Joleen), Courtney, Nolan, Brenden, Miranda, Javyn, Madison, Kenedi, and Shenae; his sister Audrey (Roy) and their family; brother-in-law Wayne (Doreen), nephew Kyle (Shanna), great-niece Juliana; niece Kendra, and the Sutcliffe family. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Irene and step-father Allan; mother and father-in-law Cecil and Rose Huffman.
